If anyone has ink needs please go to here. The shop is absolutely perfect. Very relaxing to be around and a very chill session. The perfect artist. I was able to listen to my own music and even watch videos on my laptop while casually visiting with the artist. I was by myself and they made it super comforting. My developmentally disabled brother wanted a tattoo after we lost our mother. Black Sheep handled my brother with professionalism and compassion. While I felt out of my element at first (middle aged, no tattoos or piercings), they made me feel at ease and had a good time visiting. And my brother- he almost fell asleep during the procedure. Amazing people who have artist integrity and aren't focused only on your money but on your tattoo vision. I went to Black Sheep on Saturday to get a tattoo done and had a GREAT experience. My tattoo design was a mother and child outline with my daughter's name below. I wanted the tattoo on my forearm facing me - which to everyone else would be considered backwards or upside down. Upon entering the shop I met Aaron. Aaron was so nice, sweet, he explained common issues with white ink (which is what I wanted the outline to be in) so that I was fully informed and seemed to really want to do my tattoo. However, because it was "backwards" Aaron didn't feel comfortable doing it because it went against everything he was used to doing. A lot of parlors are concerned with getting you in and getting your cash, but Aaron was more concerned with ensuring that the tattoo I received was one that I would be happy with and was what I had envisioned it to be. Since Aaron didn't feel comfortable completing the tattoo "upside down" he apologized and I went somewhere else. I know most people would expect that someone writing a review would have had a tattoo done in the shop, but obviously I didn't. Yet I feel it is important to inform people looking for a shop to know that the people here have artistic integrity and aren't just in the business for the money. It's important that when you entrust your life long artist canvas to someone it is with someone who is as invested in your art as you are. That's something great and rare honestly. This shop is amazing in every way. I've gotten tattoos all over the USA and this is experience was by far the best. Mark is such an amazing artist and made my tattoos beautiful.
