I'm honestly just very displeased at my experience here. My significant other, my mother, and I came to Tulsa for my birthday weekend and decided while at the First Annual Boulder Bash that it would be fun to get a tattoo commemorating the trip. We saw a woman at the celebration with some beautiful tattoos, and she suggested Anchor & Rose for some fun and beautiful ink. Upon arrival, my significant other went in and asked if they would be able to do three small tattoos, and they asked him to airdrop the photo of what we would like (a small line work buffalo, usually takes around 20 minutes tops and costs around $60-80 depending on minimums). This was at 4 in the afternoon, and they close at 9. After a very awkward encounter with the artist, he left to the back room and send the desk attendant to tell us that it simply wouldn't work in the hours that they have. I understand that some things just won't work out, especially because I already have quite a few of my own ranging in size. This was just a very uncomfortable and unnecessary occurrence. I just don't understand the need for the smoke show and the negating simply communicating that it wasn't possible.

I've been to a few shops in the Tulsa area and this one was the nicest by far. My first tat6was a cover up and wow you cant even tell I had another tattoo. Then my second one me and my mother both went in on a spur of the moment hey let's see how much these will cost. And an hour later I was happy to be able to look done at my arm and see my new tattoo and I couldn't beat the price! So I recommend this store to everyone I talk to and will be exclusively using them from now on.

What can I say, this tattoo parlor was absolutely amazing. It was my sisters and I first tome getting a tattoo so of course we were nervous. Our artist Clabe ( IG: Clabe_tattooer ) was AMAZING. He walked both of us through the process step by step. He explained what everything was and why he was doing it. He was really considerate when making sure we were comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place. PERFECT.

I'd like to start by telling you that I am a textbook overthinker when it comes to tattoos. I wanted a tattoo when I was 18 and didn't end up getting that tattoo until i was 25 because I had such a hard time finding an artist I could trust. The artists at Anchor and Rose were exactly the artists I needed they were all friendly,professional,passionate and most importantly patient. Hunter was the artist that did that tatoo and ended up far exeding my already extremely high expectations; but the whole shop worked with me to make sure I was getting exactly the tattoo I wanted. I warn you though the experience of getting a tattoo there might make you go from only wanting one tattoo to being tatted from head to toe!

I love my tattoo and Hunter is a charm, however, my one star review is attributed to the rude and borderline harassing shop owner. My friend came into the shop with me to design the tattoo and take the lead since she's an artist and knows all about aesthetic. The owner came over to her and said "you are scaring me, stop controlling your friend". He came around a second time and harassed her about the shading of my tattoo in an extremely unpleasant and taunting way. Overall, the experience was super awkward and uncomfortable. Not to mention, I had a 7 o'clock appointment and didn't leave until 9. Overall, the tattoo and designer are awesome, but the shop owner was a total jerk. Beware not to bring your "controlling" friend with you to your appointment!!

Well. I may have misjudged on my first visit to this shop. It's true, events are stressful or maybe the staff was having an off day. While I still don't agree with some of the things that happened in my first experience, they did impress me the second time around. I went back yesterday and it was much calmer. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. We built up quite a rapport over Lord of the Rings and I believe something about a decaying baby Dumbo. The artist and I didn't talk much, but his work was quick we did chat pleasantly a little. I'm pleased with my tattoo. Will I go back? Perhaps. Would I recommend this shop? Sure.

I've been to Anchor & Rose several times. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the artists are super down to earth and friendly. I have super bad social anxiety and the owners always make me feel like I'm at home when I visit the shop. Everyone works super hard to please their customers. You can tell they are well known and well LOVED by everyone who has visited and actually devoted time to get to the know them! There's never a dull moment. They work with you and your schedule and really listen to what kind of art work you are wanting. They have great tattoo deal opportunities and put on awesome "parties" to try to get everyone a tattoo for a STEAL of a price! They work over hours, late nights, and take little breaks just to make their customers happy! I'm always seeing familiar faces when I'm there of happy, returning customers. I am glad to have found this shop in Tulsa, because there is not hardly any shops nearly as friendly and inviting as them! They are also family welcoming which is a big score in my book! Check out them out for an incredible experience!

One of my favorite places in town. My roommate and I like to buy the all day session and split it, neither of us have every been disappointed. Plus, $600 all day session is an amazing deal! Extremely satisfied with my visit!!

I have been here to get my first big piece and Austin was great! Very clean shop and very well managed. The machines are amazing. Felt the best to get a tattoo here. Took the time to look at my tattoo and make sure the colors were what i wanted and shading was correct. I loved my piece and will be going back for my next one. Everyone at the shop made me feel welcome.. and he did a great job on a touch up tattoo i got from another shop! Great place and great people!

I'm honestly just very displeased at my experience here. My significant other, my mother, and I came to Tulsa for my birthday weekend and decided while at the First Annual Boulder Bash that it would be fun to get a tattoo commemorating the trip. Well. I may have misjudged on my first visit to this shop. It's true, events are stressful or maybe the staff was having an off day. While I still don't agree with some of the things that happened in my first experience, they did impress me the second time around. I went back yesterday and it was much calmer. My fiancé and I have gotten all of our tattoos done there! The full day session is worth it in so many ways! We absolutely love it, and won't go anywhere else! It is an amazing atmosphere, and they treat you like you've known them for years. Extremely clean, and amazing artists!

Friendly people, fun environment, all around what you want in a tattoo shop. Recently got inked by Austin who is a phenomenal artist, and couldn't be more pleased with my piece. Plus, $600 all day session is an amazing deal! Extremely satisfied with my visit!!

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. A big shout out to Marceau wife for designing my husband tattoo and a big shout out to Marceau for making them look awesome! I have been here to get my first big piece and Austin was great! Very clean shop and very well managed. The machines are amazing. Felt the best to get a tattoo here. Took the time to look at my tattoo and make sure the colors were what i wanted and shading was correct. I loved my piece and will be going back for my next one. Everyone at the shop made me feel welcome.. and he did a great job on a touch up tattoo i got from another shop! Great place and great people!

After searching all of Tulsa I have hands down decided to get my first tattoo at Anchor & Rose. The entire staff is so incredibly friendly while staying completely professional. Their felicity is immaculate and they do AMAZING work. They truly care about their customers and treat them as family. I fully trust Marceau's abilities and cannot wait to receive his art!
