I was very impressed with the establishment. However, the tattoo artist seemed very confident he could do my tattoo and his stencil was good. However, when it was finished it was not what I asked for. I was very disappointed. I wish if he was not able to do hand writing he would have said something. I did ask before he started if he could do it and he seemed confident he could. He took what was meant to be a very sentimental tattoo and made it his hand writing. I was very disappointed. Mark did an awesome job on taking our initial design and making it better. Mark is friendly, courteous, and knows what he's doing. My tat is fairly large (bigger than a CD) and was relatively pain free ( don't get me wrong there were some spots that were Holy Cow painful!) but over all not bad. Zac and Matt are awesome. My wife was not please with her tattoo from 15th Street tattoo in Edmond. Zac and Matt collaborated in making her dragon look like a dragon. ZSR is an amazing place to get your new tattoo! It is the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in! The artists each have their own, spacious area, equipped with privacy shades to pull down in the event you're getting a piece on a private part of your body. The waiting area is very comfortable and professional, located at the front of the shop. The artists have their drawing area set up just behind the front counter, before you get to their actual tattooing areas. The bathroom is in the back of the shop, and again, super clean! There are amazing paintings throughout the shop, done by the owner!Zak, the owner, is skilled in all areas, but I especially love my black and gray tattoos that he has done on myself & my boyfriend! We get compliments on them everywhere that we go!!! He is very gentle while working, and makes good conversation to help take your mind off of any discomfort he is causing! Again, VERY talented!!Matt, the shop apprentice, has been with them for quite a while! He has watched both artist do almost every one of my tattoos. He is constantly working to keep the shop clean, and help the artists in any way he can, as well as improve on his technique and skills! He recently started accepting clients and I am eager to get tattooed by him in the near future! Really nice guy!Kevin, another artist in the shop, has done several tattoos for myself & my boyfriend too! He specializes in traditional tattoos, but is also skilled in many other areas.
