My big brother and I met with Lili at SB Body Arts last night to get sibling tattoos. I received a small diamond with beautiful shading on my ankle, and my brother received a steel anvil on the back of his calf. The tattoos are very special to my brother and I; I can confidently say I've found the perfect tattoo shop and artist. I now have two tattoos, and I truly wish I would have found SB Body Arts for my first tattoo. They charged me fairly, and I was very happy with the work Lili did. I will be going back to her for all the tattoos future tattoos. Their shop is extremely clean, and everyone I had a chance to speak with was extremely nice. I am new to Oklahoma City, also The Village area, after previously living near the Paseo. I saw SB and decided to inquire about prices inside the shop. I walked in and asked about a take away pamphlet with prices, perhaps something to promote the business. It's not standard to do this, but it's a good idea for a business, in my opinion. The bitch at the front gave me the ugliest face in the world when I asked about prices. The shop was not welcoming at all. I felt offended by the look on her face and the tone in her voice and I let her know, which caused her to act offended and then a man to come out. The man seemed extremely annoyed, yet curious. I ended up asking what the prices were for dermal's to get a range on their pricing, since there was no reference to go off of, except..the bitch at the front. The man got frustrated with me and told me to leave his fucking shop. Why would I want to be in a shop where the staff are rude and it's overpriced. Take your business elsewhere, I would recommend Mystical Illusions, off 23rd. The staff are extremely friendly, the prices are affordable and they do great work. Dermal's at Mystical cost 30.00 and you don't have to deal with a bad attitude, you can tip your piercer and continue to get great shit for a great price and not be greeted by poop faces. SB wanted to charge 45 per dermal. It is worth the drive to go to Mystical. Rip, SB. Read Less

I have had an amazing experience here with Leroy, and had the opportunity to meet Lili. Both of whom i would highly recommend. Unfortunately, I also had the WORST tattoo experience here I have ever had. This occurred with Jason. He was incredibly unprofessional, rude, and straight up mean. Yes, I was a walk in, but I patiently waited for him to arrive to work. He acted as if what i wanted was not possible at all. He raised his voice multiple times and even had me questioning if he WANTED to tattoo. Again, I understand being a walk in may not be high on an artists list but I am still a client entrusting you to put permanent ink on my body. I deserve the same respect I am giving you. This led to me asking the sweet girl at the desk to make sure he was still wanting to tattoo me, at this point I was growing weary and uncomfortable. She assured me he can just be brash. LOL good idea in a people industry. He then came out again and I informed him still no, that is not what I wanted. I showed reference pictures to which he exclaimed, "WHY didn't you just show me those to begin with! That will take much longer and cost much more. You can make an appointment." I walked out. Jason might be a talented artist, but he sure as hell isn't anyone I would want near me with a tattoo gun. Went to a wonderful shop and got exactly what I was looking for as well as a patient, trusting, and passionate artist. Will not be back, and will make sure everyone knows of my experience. Read Less

My husband and I each had our nose pierced this evening. Clean shop and helpful, friendly staff that answered our questions via Facebook messenger earlier in the day. Our piercer was extremely professional, and he did a great job explaining aftercare and the piercing procedure. They're also one of the first places I've been to that sterilizes the jewelry and equipment right in front of you and makes sure you see the proof of sterilization. My daughter lost her father in April 2017 due to complications after a semi wreck, she desperately wanted a tattoo of his last heartbeats before making the difficult decision of pulling the plug. My kids & their friends have been going there for a while using Joshua Smith & he has always done a fantastic job in the past, but when my son & I went to get our tatts done together by him; he messed up both of them & said "well there's nothing I can do; it's permanent." Yup! He was that blah-zay about it. Really was a disappointment when we were so excited to get them done. He spelled a name wrong on my sons tattoo & forgot to add the color to mine. It's all black. SB Body Arts was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with any business. My 3 daughters wanted their ears pierced and I decided to get my cartilage pierced as well.  We did some research and decided on SB after talking with them on the phone. Nick was fantastic with all of my girls, he was very patient and respected their concerns and anxieties. His work is superb and he's a very stand up and wonderful person! All of the staff we came into contact with were so pleasant and fun. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. My best friend and I got Friday the 13th tattoos here and the experience was terrible. Keep in mind these were not our first tattoos and this was not our first time in a tattoo shop. Our artist was very unprofessional, complained nonstop about how much work he had to do on such a busy day and how little he gets paid, and kept mentioning that he couldn't wait to go home and get high. The concept art we saw being drawn up and the actual tattoos we saw leaving the shop looked nothing alike. The lines on our tattoos were sloppy and the artist tried to hide his mistakes on my tattoo by covering them up with shading that was WAY too dark. Both of our tattoos scarred because of how heavy handed he was with his machine. The coloring on my friend's tattoo was spotty and her moth was crooked and lopsided. She is currently looking to pay hundreds for a cover up. Since then, I have seen multiple reviews from people with similar experiences to ours. From what I have seen and experienced, this shop puts no effort into small tattoos or work done during special promotions. The shop does nothing but make excuses for their poor work and it's unacceptable. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Read Less

Had both my nostrils pierced today. It was a very clean environment! Friendly staff. I had Amanda Salois do my piercings. She probably changed her gloves 3-5 times from the beginning to end of my service and I love that !!! I felt safe letting her stab me with needles :) They custom bend your jewelry after sterilizing it, before your service and open all their tools in front of you. You get what you pay for and honestly I feel this place was well worth what I paid! Very reasonably priced for a good service and a good attitude! I stopped in today to rectify an old aggravated piercing. Dustin took out my jewelry, cleaned up my angry ear and even helped me pick out jewelry!
