Walked in with a simple design already printed out, Derek took me straight back and we knocked it out within a couple hours. This was about 2 years ago, and the tattoo I got has a lot of thin line work involved, but it still looks as clean and recognizable as the day I got it. I was basically a walk in. Although I called a few hours before. Tyler answered promptly and imformed me he had a few appointments but would call me if he had some time. An hour or so later I got a call so I went in. Upon arriving I was greeted very professionally. Shop was clean. Employees were down to earth. They made me feel like a regular. I wanted a tattoo that symbolized happiness, so I chose the molecular structure of serotonin, but wanted it to seem fluid and organic. I received a tattoo here from Viking Ashley on the 23rd of June. I did a lot of research before going to this shop and I am very glad I did. Not only did I receive the best tattoo I've ever gotten at a fair, affordable price, but Viking Ashley was such a great artist to work with. I emailed her my ideas and set up an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment she had taken my idea and made it 100 times better than I could have ever imagined. She was very professional and very friendly. The shop was very clean and laid back. Every other artist in there was super friendly and professional. I strongly recommend this shop to anyone who is in the market for a tattoo. It's been about about three years since I have gotten work at this shop.  I didn't know what to say in this review because I had a both a good and no so good experience.  I went here from a recommendation of a friend.  The artist was great at communicating.  At the last minute several days before my appointment I got sick so we rescheduled without any problem.  When I went in for my new appointment the artist was super friend and quick in the process.  I was in the chair for 30 minutes and got one medium size tattoo and two small ones.  The customer service was great the work was not so much.   I am not sure why my tattoos did not turn out as well as the other tattoos this artist did (because there are some amazing ones) but it wasn't good.  On one of my tattoo it is a little raised (some say it's because of the pressure of the artist when tattooing).  Thus every time I rub that area I can feel the ink.  The second one I got on my wrist and it was a little symbol, some of the ink didn't stay in the skin thus it bled to the other part of the symbol.  I've been told that sometimes this can't be prevented but if a smaller needle was used it can help the ink to not bleed.  Anyways I had a similar issue with my third tattoo where the ink didn't hold well.  I'm not satisfied with my tattoo but I had a friend who got hers right after mine and it was freaken amazing so i'm a little mixed in this thus giving this place a three. I did 2 sessions with Travis. He did a cover up tattoo on one that I had done about 20 years ago. It turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!! The colors are so rich and there is absolutely no trace of the old tattoo. I am soooo happy and truly appreciate the wonderful job he did for me!! My first tattoo was done here over a year ago and I was disappointed. When I arrived for my appointment, on time, the guy told me to come back in an hour or so because he was still with a client. Which was fine, so I got lunch with my sister and came back. When he finally got to me, the whole appointment seemed rushed. Like he was making up for lost time. When the tattoo was finished, it looked okay. I mean, it was a small design on my back and it took him about 10 minutes to do. When I got home and took a closer look, the tattoo was uneven and the lines didn't match up. I'm posting a review now because I've spent the past couple days trying to find someone who could cover it. I went to No Regrets for my 5th tattoo, first time getting one in OKC, and I was extremely disappointed. The artist not only free-handed, without consulting me, but he didn't pay enough attention to what I wanted and he got the color wrong. I now have to pay to get a cover-up whenever this one heals. :/ Read Less

Big Nate is the man to see! He does amazing quality work and for a great price! I highly recommend him to any and everyone, he is gentle and does an excellent job at ensuring your comfortable. The other tattoo artists are great as well and entertaining if your waiting for a bit. The location its self is great and clean, not easy to park super close like front door unless your lucky but parking is still not a huge issue. There are excellent choices of surrounding areas to eat and drink at. Read Less

Before I walked into the shop on July 22, 2016, I did not have any tattoos whatsoever. I walked into No Regrets with honestly no idea what I wanted. But while I was sitting there, filling out the paperwork, it just came to me. Exactly what I wanted and the meaning behind it. Found a photo online and showed it to Tyler, he created a stencil, placed it on my right forearm and went to work. The photo attached is what now resides permanently on my right forearm. Hummingbirds have a lot of personal meaning to me and I'm thankful to Tyler and to the shop for being so kind to a woman who'd never had a tattoo in her life. Needless to say, I'll be back. I'm only writing this because my experience was so different from the other reviews on here especially since the main reason I went to No Regrets was because I relied upon these reviews.I went in with pictures in hand of what I wanted. I talked with the artist and I told him it didn't have to be exact, but I wanted it to be pretty similar. I set up an appointment for the next week. Showed up for my appointment early. The artist wasn't there but they called and he came in, still before my scheduled time so it was promising. Then he said, "Now what did you want?" I reminded him that I had brought in pictures and left them with him. He found them, apparently not having looked at them since I left them. It was a floral motif. He went to the computer and printed out a picture (from Instagram) of the same type of flower and created a "template" to use. The act of the tattooing process was fine. Yes, there was pain, but it was at a level I expected and very tolerable. He was pleasant and professional in that portion. There was also some greenery that I wanted added in addition to the flower (as there was on the inspo photo I'd given him several days before) and he pulled up a picture on his phone and started to randomly draw circles with a sharpie where he wanted to put them. My inspiration picture was never referenced after I left it with him the week before and a passing glance on the day of the tattoo. Once I got home and really looked at it, the greenery has the look of an afterthought and being "slapped on" rather than actually being part of the design. Once he was done, he wrapped me up and sent me on my way. With excess ink everywhere. My tattoo was placed on the side of my calf. I had ink all up the side of my knee and down across my ankle and top of my foot. I had come from work so the clothes I had on weren't cheap throw aways. It was like going to a salon for a color job and leaving with dye all over my neck and face and having to pull on a shirt over it. However, one plus is that the price was less than I expected. He did seem a little put out that I didn't have cash, which, IMO he should have mentioned that at our first meeting. He spent about an hour and 40 minutes and charged me just a little over their posted hourly rate. That will make up for having to go to someone else to have it touched up to see if I can get closer to what I actually wanted. i grew up with an older brother that is a tattoo fanatic (knuckles to shoulders on both arms, neck, back, chest, stomach... all covered) and loved to drag me along while he got work done.  i've seen good shops, bad shops, and garage/backroom setups.  that being said i never got a tattoo myself.  i was always worried it would hurt too much, or that i would regret whatever fad tattoo i liked at the time.  i recently lost a dog to cancer that was very special to my wife and i and decided i wanted a tattoo in his honor.  i knew ashley smith from the plaza district and was very familiar with her work and her shop.  it was always a cool place to hop in and check out and close to some of my favorite places to hang out, so when i decided to go forward with it i knew it had to be her.  i sketched a very poor drawing of what i was wanting and sent it to her along with some photos and scheduled an appointment.  she nailed it.  every symbol was there, and it was way better than i could've imagined.  once i saw the drawing i knew i wanted to go through with it. she was incredibly supportive and patient with me.  i had a lot of questions and was real nervous so i kept talking.  she had no problem taking a break when i needed it and even stayed late to get it finished that day.i always wanted a tattoo but never saw myself actually doing it.  now i plan on getting at least 2 more for my other two dogs and maybe more.she made the experience a very special memory, and her work was incredible.  i've had ppl that are very good at recognizing a well done tattoo and they have all told me that ashley did some great work.  i couldnt agree more. Just a heads up, this review is a bit biased. I only say that because after going here once, I definitely haven't wanted to go to another shop.I've gotten work done by Ashley @ No Regrets multiple times, and I am always glad to be going here. Her work is extremely professional, her style (of artwork) is unique, and she always makes you feel comfortable and completely okay with every step of the process. I wish I could provide more information on the other artists, but I have no direct experience with them. The art that I have seen in photos and their books looks just as good. In chatting with them I would feel comfortable going to them for work, but I stay loyal. I have never had a BAD tattoo experience (at other shops even) but regardless I always recommend No Regrets to anyone who is thinking about getting some work.I really don't want to post this review because that means it will be even harder to find an appointment time, but people need to know. The sign says "good tattoos aren't cheap, and cheap tattoos aren't good" which still holds true. So does the name of the shop. Read Less
