I've known Jason for (insert number too large for me to comfortably mention) years. Of the four (now 5) tats I've had done, he has done the two that are most important to me. He's a great guy, and makes sitting in the chair seem like it is the most natural thing in the world. Our two hours flew by like nothing. The piece he is currently working on for me is a memorial tattoo for my Dad, who was a loyal customer, as well as good friend, to Jason. I can't wait for my next appointment so he can fill it out. Jason Did a terrible job on a good friend of mines arm! She spent $1000 and he wouldn't even fix it, smh at least try to fix what you screwed up, luckily she found someone else who is doing a cover-up but unfortunately went from a half sleeve to needing a full sleeve due to his mistakes on top of having to pay a second time for the same arm. Roses looked like crap, he refused to shade them properly and made "falling" rose petals that look like red circles. I understand people make mistakes, but this is something PERMANENT on someone's body! At least offer to fix it to keep your customers happy and business good. Read Less

His shop makes you super comfortable unlike the other shop in the midwest area. The other shops were super weird or just ridiculous. Most were assholes and didn't even know the basics for tattoo care. I'm going to have Jason cover a tattoo I got done from skin addiction because of how bad it is. I came to Fat Katz initially because of the location. Jason who seemed like an awesome sweet man gave me a price and I paid it for the full tattoo and halfway through tells me that I will need to come back in about 2 weeks after what was done healed. That was fine however, after the 2 weeks went by it took me three months and a dozen scheduled appointments that he cancelled last minute literally to finally get in for him to finish something I had already paid for! To top it off the back side of my sleeve on my arm he did not shade in so it looks different than the rest of my tattoo (@ the time I could not tell as it was swollen). I have messaged him many times asking to set something up to complete the missing shading that I paid for again mind you and he has continuously ignored me.
