This was one of my best experiences getting a tattoo done. The staff was friendly & helpful. Sam, who worked on me, was absolutely amazing. I'm thin & he worked on my front rib cage with my bone literally poking out at him, so, of course it was super painful. But, he didn't act annoyed when I cursed a few times. He was so kind. Sam's work is unbelievable. My tattoo came out so clean & precise. I have a lot & this one is my favorite. Not based on the meaning, but by the quality. I will never go to anyone else. I would suggest this place for certain tattoo styles. I got my first piece here and I've come back doing walk in tattoos with friends and they took all three of us and we did not have to wait ages. Although my artist and I have severely different personalities ( can't remember his name, he keeps his head shaved and has several head tattoos, I think its Adam) his professionalism and work was great. I spontaneously decided the other day that I wanted a new tattoo. I had never gotten on in OKC before, so I wasn't really sure where to go. A friend of mine recommended Bloodline Elite, so I thought I'd stop in and talk to one of the artists about what I was wanting. Adam had an immediate opening, so after I talked to him and showed him examples of what I was wanting, he sat down and started sketching it up. I waited for about 30-45min while he got it drawn and set everything up. The staff were really personable and fun. Adam asked me questions about my life and the tattoo while he was working on it. The price seemed a little high, but I've only gotten tattoos in Missouri and I know that they cost more here in Oklahoma. Just got home from getting my second tattoo at Bloodline. First time was 5 years ago and that was a great experience. Tonight, Carlos did excellent work, exactly what I asked for, but the two times he spoke to me were "ready?" and "all done!". Boring. I did comment on a photo on his wall and got a monosyllabic response. Other than that, it was similar to going to the dentist with worse music. Tattoos are highly personal things to people. I was the customer and it's not my job to engage - it's the job of the person I'm paying. So, no issues with Bloodline Elite Tattooing. But Carlos. Meh. Read Less

I travel a lot and have picked up a tattoos from all over the US and whenever I stop in OKC for a night or two, I go and see Carlos. He does great work and always takes my ideas and makes them better. I can't say enough about his professionalism and creativity.  The 5 tattoos I've gotten from Carlos are some of my favorites. He even was able to fix a really bad tattoos and make it awesome. I haven't really worked with anyone else from the shop but Eric's work looks pretty badass and the staff seems pretty cool. Eric did an absolutely amazing job on a  touch-up/cover up, for a large piece on my back.  He was very professional, knowledgeable, and most of all talented. I'm sad to say that i had a less than desirable experience at this tattoo shop. Quite frankly, my artist was rude and seemed like he had something else to do. This will be on me for the rest of my life...how dare you do a half-a** job? I could have gone anywhere else but I came to YOUR shop. On a referral none the less. Good: The shop was clean. Bad: Everything else. A word of advice to all. Please have a good rapport with your artist. Knowing who you want to do your work is just as important as knowing what you want to get and where. My wife and i are in are 50's .We have been getting tattooed for 30 of those years .We started looking for a great tattoo artist about 5 years ago to do cover up and get new ink. 2 years ago we met Eric . We looked at his work and talked to people that had work done .We decided that we had to get his atrwork put down on us.To make a long story short my wife and I now have 6 cover-up and 6 new tats. We love Eric's work but don't discount the other artists. He has some of the best new talent working in his shop. Rob Scott does the most fabulous celtic art you will ever encounter...from one that has his work on my canvas. And last but not least. Chris is also a great artist and we will have one of his pieces of work before we are all done. For the best work in the State...you have to go and get your own ink by these true artists.
