I'm from East Texas so most of my art is done from one person over the last 7 years but I do have some from from over the US from time in the Marine Corps. I am extremely hesitant on trying someone new. After reading reviews I went into Big Daddy's. I have been in several shops in United States and this is by far the friendliest I have been in. They are so inviting and attentive. I got my work done by Eric. He told me he has been tattooing a little over 4 years. He did an excellent job and delivered me exactly what I wanted. I have a tattoo obsession. Every year or so, I get tattoo fever. I have this gigantic, ever-growing list of things I want and so, last night when the hubs suggested date- night consist of burgers and tattoos - I was ecstatic! We did some research. I have very limited knowledge of tattoos in Oklahoma. Most of my ink has been from west coast or east coast artists. Using a new artist is nerve wracking. I mean - tattoos are forever and I've had some bad ones. Our combing of the internet led us to Big Daddy's Tattoos. Their ratings were excellent, so, we decided to try to walk-in and see what they could do for us. The staff here is so friendly. They greeted us immediately and even though there were some customers ahead of us, they told us they'd be right with us. I never felt rushed. We talked through the pieces we wanted, talked through placement and price. They were honest - my husband and I both have finger tattoos that didn't turn out very well. We asked about getting them freshened up, and Eric and Ethan were completely honest about ink holding up - on fingers - it's just tough and they don't recommend. They are all about their customers and would rather tell you a certain tattoo won't hold up than take your money and cross their fingers that it turns out. We were interested in getting much bigger pieces but because we didn't have an appointment opted for three smaller tattoos. Eric and Ethan were so patient and accommodating. We are thrilled with our new tattoos and will definitely be back to get our larger pieces done. Ethan hooked up my husband and Eric took care of me. He had a very light hand and while tattoos hurt - that's just apart of the deal - these were the most pleasant tattoos I've ever received. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and knowledgeable. As I was getting my first tattoo, I had a lot of questions and they were very patient with me and answered all of them well. Eric did my tattoo, and it looks fantastic! He was reassuring during the whole process, let me look at his progress during it, and made sure the whole room was completely sanitized. I went in tonight to get a simple cloud tattoo background at 9:45pm. There was only one artist there. He Vocalized that no one had been there all day, so I assumed he wanted to work. Boy was I wrong. Our artist was very polite and professional. We were from out of town so we didn't have an appointment, but they were able to get us with an Artist and started very quickly. As soon as we started asking them, the guy at the desk looked at us both like we were stupid. I got my first tattoo with my sister on 5/13/2017 at this location. I was visiting my sister in Enid when we looked up places and found this one. When we arrived they were very friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and professional for my lack of experience in tattoo shops. They have a $100 minimum which is reasonable from my research. I ended up getting my tattoo from Zach Perez. He is really nice and a great artist. He nailed what I wanted perfectly. I highly recommend him and I like his art style. We walked in without a appointment looking for a price to get a tattoo and were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. A clean shop with polite individuals ready to work with you and with great ideas to get you the artwork you desire. After discussing what my friend was looking for with Big Daddy we liked what we saw and the price he quoted us so much she chose to to get it right then. He was very accommodating and full of ideas. After he was finished laying down the ink, he gave her thorough care instructions and a free care pack to take home. Myself being sleeved with ink from many artist found this to be the first place I've seen give a free care package to their clients. Big Daddy takes great pride in his work and backs it with free touch-ups should it ever need it. The next time I go for a tattoo I will definitely be going to him for my artwork! Asked for our deposit $ back after he started talking about "gays" not being good enough to serve him food at a restaurant . Said he wasn't judgemental, but would ask for another server in a restaurant if the original server was "gay". I tagged along with my two "children" (18 and 20) who were wanting to get their first tattoos. I was hesitant to say the least but had done extensive research (like all good mothers do) on numerous tattoo shops, parlors, etc and came to the conclusion that Big Daddy's was the very best place for my children's virgin skin to get tatted up. I was not wrong (I rarely am)! Big Daddy Moe did both of their tattoos and did a phenomenal job. A true artisan. The shop was very professional, clean, and fun! Everyone was great. I got to meet two other tattoo artists OB and Drew both just as talented and charming as Big Daddy. Customer service was A+ all the way. They all patiently answered my questions. I loved the store has actual art work by the artists that work there hung through out. It was very impressive. Gave you a great idea of each tattoo artists personality, style and talent. I'm actually wanting to return to purchase a couple of pieces. Big Daddy sent each of the my "kids" home with a care package with instructions on how to clean and care for the tattoo until it heels. They also have lifetime touch ups. Great shop. Talented artists. Outstanding customer service. Fun environment. I might become a Big Daddy's groupie. Bobbie Jordan did my nipple piercing and she did fine. She cleaned it with an alcohol swab and stuck the needle through. I was so nervous and she did well with making me feel comfortable. Two days later I went back and Clayton pierced my second one. He's great. He was very professional, he turned on the fan to cool down the room, used the iodine soap, the clamp, and a short barbell (3/4). They both gave great customer service and were very friendly, but if you go for a body piercing I'd ask for Clayton.Whomever you choose, just go back to the same person. Read Less

I'd been thinking about getting a new tattoo for... hmm... 15 years. I just never got around to it. Well it was mostly that it was a passing interest mixed with not knowing what I wanted on my body the rest of my life, cut with lack of funds. Finally, all three blockades came down and I moved forward. I wanted some place close and also good, so I called Atomic Lotus. After a highly condescending conversation on the phone I looked elsewhere, which brought me to Big Daddy's. I'm glad I made this decision. People here are quite respectful and professional, and above all they have talent. I mean, for what you're trying to do this takes commitment, and you want a master of the trade putting a needle to your skin. I worked with Drew, and he had a lot of his art displayed on the wall, which gave me confidence in his abilities. My design was a tweak on the Austrian Coat of Arms. I altered it in Adobe Illustrator and gave him a rough guide to work with, telling him what I wanted and giving him some creative license over some alterations. I was really pleased with his design and he delivered. I recommended this place to my coworkers, but none of them are really the type to get inked. I got my septum done here by Clay. He was so funny and nice and he made me very comfortable with getting a piercing. I'm usually shaky and really nervous but I absolutely loved going here. I chose to get my tattoo here based on reviews I had read online. I was a walk in and the artist that was helping me was Big Daddy Moe. He pretty much judged me based on what I was wearing (pink shirt) and said I looked like a "nice girl" and tried to talk me out of getting a tattoo. I informed him that I have another tattoo and I have given thought to this tattoo for the last year. I should have just walked away then and gone somewhere else... This was the first sign/red flag and I ignored it. I did not know I needed to dress in grunge to be taken seriously. Anyways, he did the tattoo for me but once it was finished and I had gone home I could tell there was spots that he missed..... I could see skin through the ink & coloring outside of the border. Once the tattoo healed I could see the border very clearly in spots and see that the letters were not filled in that great. The entire tattoo looks like it was done by someone with a shaky inexperienced hand. Nothing I could do at this point except let it heal. I knew I needed to wait for the tattoo to heal before I went and got a a touch up so I waited 30 days to contact him for an appointment. I wanted to be fair to him and give him the opportunity to touch up his own work, despite it being shaky, and he said he would get back to me with a time I could come in once he looked at his schedule. After I didn't hear anything for a few days I called the shop directly (I spoke to him) and scheduled a time to come in. I arrived to my appointment 20 minutes early and he said he was just finishing up another tattoo and it would only be a few minutes later. 1 hour after the appointment time he was still tattooing. In fact, at this time he and the client took a 15 minute smoke break and then went back to finishing the tattoo! I don't know if Moe was smoking or not but he was out back and the client was out front smoking. I could not even believe it!! During their break he did come out to look at my tattoo and I showed him the BLOB of ink on the cross and he told me that was a "flare" to give it personality. Okay.... No. It is a shaky hand BLOB on a basic 2 line, stick cross. The cross looks like a plus sign but with a blob at the bottom. If it was a so called "flare" for personality then how come he didn't mention that at the time? It's a BLOB of ink. He "talks the talk" about customer service... He acts like they take it very serious but I can assure you I wasn't given quality work or any real customer service. Now, I have to go pay someone else to FIX his work which I will gladly do because I am not wasting my time or future money (more tattoos) on someone with a shaky hand who doesn't want to fix their own work! I'm am just taking this as a giant red flag and walking away. I will let someone else show me their talents instead. I hate to write this review this way but I wish I had read some reviews with the truth about which artist to avoid before I chose to come here. Now I show off sloppy work! .... Great.Please Note: This review does not reflect any other artist at this shop as I have no experiences with anyone other than Big Daddy Moe.By the way, Big Daddy Moe doesn't even own Big Daddy's Tattoo shop.... The ambiance was so welcoming I enjoyed the music and he was so comedic I forgot there was a needle gliding through my body.
