He was very funny and kept me entertained while he worked and produced the beautiful piece that still makes me cry as I know my Grandpa would have loved it. I never leave reviews unless I'm very impressed. I went in as a walk in yesterday for a tattoo. They referred me to one of their artist's that specialized in the style I was looking for. I got set up with Rob and he cleaned up my sketch in an awesome way. He did a great stencil. Super light hand but gets the ink in very well. Really great guy, professional and fun to talk to. My daughter has been tattooed by Matt Hammonds twice and when she told me she wanted complimentary tattoos with me, she immediately picked Matt. I had several ideas and when I first met with Matt, he was honest and receptive. The final piece was my daughter's Capricorn constellation that intersects with my Aries constellation with a moon in the middle. When she was little, I would say "I love you to the moon & back" and little baby D would say, "I love you to the moon & back never ending so I love you more, mommy!" Now that she is moving to North Carolina, I knew we had to stop talking about it and make it happen. Matt is a very talented tattoo artist and can free hand beautiful designs. If I ever decide to expand or get new ink, I will definitely come back to see him. Well I'm 28 and have never had a peircing or tattoo although I LOVE both, but my stupid fear of needles kept me from it. I went with a friend to Skin Vandals to watch her get a peircing and well... I walked out with pierced ears ooohhhh I know big deal right? Anyways they were all so awesome and they really mad me feel very comfortable and Sean did an awesome job! I went there to get ear piercings redone. I had one on the lobe that was basically clogged by a layer of skin and my helix which had closed up years ago. I always had trouble with my helix when I got it done a long time ago - I don't recommend going to Claire's btw which is where I got it. Their instructions are apparently no good. Anyway, Sean did my piercings and he was awesome. I definitely recommend! He pushed open my lobe and pierced my helix with a sterilized needle obviously (instead of a gun like I had before) and his instructions were detailed and way better than what I had before. It's been a few days and my ear feels and looks great. I haven't run into any problems. Read Less

First of all, I want to let you know of how much Leslie P.'s comment is WRONG and completely ignorant. I am the girl that she *almost* ran over, as she rushed out of the shop, nearly missing me with the door and not even stopping to apologize. Sean the piercer, jokingly asked me to lock the door (not realizing he was a joking) so I did. I mean, if you walk into a shop you have never been in before, and someone who looks like they work there tells you to do something...? Do y'all get my point, anyways. Sean was very quick to help me and my friend with what we wanted. He and the other staff were very friendly and joked around with us while we were there. I got a tongue piercing, and as much as I had read and read about how they are one of the easiest and least painful out of all the piercings... I still syked myself up about a needle literally going through MY TONGUE. Sean was very patient with me and very professional. I love my piercing, and I highly recommend coming here. Thanks Sean! I went outside to show him that it was the same size as the one I had been using, and he locked me out. During business hours, with people there. I was appalled. I've gotten several piercings here by Sean (snakebites, triple helix, nostril, and ear stretching), and so has my husband (tongue, snakebites). I brought two of my friends here to get a tattoo and nipple piercing. I highly recommend Skin Vandals. I have always felt relaxed here, and Sean has a way of lightening the mood with his sense of humor even when you're getting a needle stuck through you. The work spaces are clean and sanitary.
