This place was awesome! They took 3 of us just walking in! I was super nervous and Greg just made it so much easier! He explained everything to us. He had us cracking up laughing the whole time! 1: my sister and I were walk-ins for a special they held and they close at 10pm...we were the last 2 there at 11pm and still got our tattoos. I was totally expecting 10pm to roll around and the next business day apt book to roll around with it! Not the case!Read Less

I am so disappointed in this place. I came in as a walk in for the 3X3 special they run. As a walk in I know I'm in for a long wait. That's no big deal. But to wait 2 1/2 hours for the artist to look at what I want and say it's too much detail for a 3x3 and dismiss me is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would except the people taking names and printing what I want to have the slightest clue about what they are willing to do or not do. I will continue to get my tattoos at more professional shops in the future. And I will make sure to let anyone who asks about my current tattoos to avoid this place like the plague. Read Less

Awful. Made a tattoo appointment two weeks in advance. Sent email with photos and description. Called 3 days prior for a confirmation and price quote. This was appointments for my mother in law and I for Mother's Day tattoos. Was confirmed of my apt and told I would get a call back. Never got a call. The owner didn't open until 12:07 when our appointments were suppose to be at noon. I walk inside and am told he has not had time to draw it up and it'll take 2 days to draw. I reminded him I made this apt two weeks ago and confirmed 2 days prior, he said "I am not the one who makes appointments '" he had the emails and photos printed out and available when we walked in but he "didn't have time"??? I sent the email April 21st and my appointment was may 13th. Very unprofessional. Rude. Unkept. And tardy. Read Less

A venture anywhere outside of Okmulgee means a good while stuck in a car, so I don't do it very often. And it's even rarer that I have the car on a weekday. But today I had and did both. A drive from Okmulgee to Muskogee is about an hour one way, but J&G Tattoo and Body Piercing was worth it. They have a great deal on tattoos and body piercings when you go on your birthday. My piercer was professional, reassuring, easy-going and all around upbeat individual. Not to mention a ...biker with piercings and tattoos on his own. He made sure that I was relaxed with jokes and comical stories of past piercings he did. And when it was done and became lightheaded from the adrenaline rush, he made sure I laid down and had a soda for the sugar. I simply love this place! I love the people and I love the atmosphere. The outside looks a little rugged but everything run on the inside is done right. I have gotten three tattoos from their artist and one piercing from them. Even though I have moved away, I still come back to them. It's worth the wait and the two hour drive.
