My husband and I have been getting tattooed by Andrew for about 2 1/2 years now. His work is excellent and every piece is even better than the last. The shop is so new and clean. I love the seprate tattoo rooms; makes for a more private and comfortable experience. I got my thigh tattooed this week and he used a new numbing spray on it and I could not believe how well it worked. If you are in the market for black and gray work, Andrew is where it's at. I've got to Avenue for the first time to get a pretty decent sized chest piece by Marilee. And besides the tattoo coming out very well done. She works around my work schedule, and it doesn't matter if it's 2 weeks later or a month later, she makes sure you get the tattoo you paid for and is willing to work around tough work schedules. Andrew is an amazing artist his work is very detailed and he will make sure you get exactly what you are wanting. I had a few things I didn't care for in one of the images I got tattooed on me and he was able change it up and was able to capture exactly what I was wanting. He works in a very down to earth environment and has great friendly staff he is also very friendly and funny. I love all of my work and highly recommend him to anyone who enjoys realistic black and gray tattoos. Surprisingly amazing. Great staff and atmosphere. Sarah did a walk in job for my fiancé when she didn't have to and the details were superbly done. Can't wait to get her tat finished and Tony came in on his day off to start my half sleeve when he didn't need to at all. Dedicated staff and their art work is in my opinion better than shine on. Andrew, Tony, and Jason absolutely kill it with their tattoo work. Andrew is the shop owner and takes it above and beyond with making sure his clients are happy. Tony and Jason are the other 2 tattoo artists there and all 3 of them have amazing work that is incomparable to the other shops in town. They even won "Best Tattoo Shop in Lawton"! They are constantly giving away free tattoos, money, even other cool things in raffles and just social media sharing giveaways. Any money spent here is worth what you get back, and more. Andrew the owner/ operator of Avenue Tattoo Studio is the man and I will quickly tell you why. I am currently serving in the U.S. Air Force at Sheppard AFB Texas. I visited the shop on Saturday the 19th of July 2014 with the desire to do a half sleeve of Old Glory or to the socialist/ Libs that read this, the American/ United States flag. He was busy with a customer in the chair and one waiting. Andrew took the time to chat briefly about the design. I had asked if he could sketch me his rough draft and then if we were both happy we would lay it down.He is closed Sun-Mon as to have a life with his family. I did not expect work until Tuesday or Monday late at the earliest. We were both excited of the prospect, however he texted me a design that Saturday night late. It looked awesome so he asked me what schedule worked for me. To  sum up the shop in a few words professional, accommodating, uber talented, and last but not least humble. Any one person can slam the other artist in town and overstate their toughness with all their ink. This was a military friendly do?che bag free zone.
