The artist that did my tattoo was great! He didn’t wear sunglasses or a big Jesus piece, which is great because I hate sunglasses and religion! I was told To check back in a week to get the other done unfortunately I have not got a call back and I've been waiting a while fixing to go home and no one will call or even texed me I get that these places get busy but it's so unprofessional to just not return my calls or texed ! I wanted both my tattoos to look the same now they won't bc I'll have to find a new artist !!! Read Less

Terrible experience. They messed up my very simple tattoo. They gave it to me for free, and Brian smith gave me his number to talk about getting it covered for free, so I texted him and he read it and never texted me back. Very unprofessional. I got this tattoo as a memorial for my dad that passed away who also had a lion head tattoo on his back. I've known Travis at Downtown for a while now but this is the first time he's tatted me but he gave me something I can definitely be proud of! Brian Smith also did a cover up of a basic feather that on my ribs a few years ago and turned it into a masterpiece quill. Extremely satisfied with both experiences and I'll definitely be back! I went in today to get my cartilage piercing switched out and the owner was fantastic. He helped me find a more suitable and comfortable earring and answered any question I had. This review is late coming, so I apologize for not remembering who pierced me.Now as far as service, they were great, very courteous, polite, and friendly. I went in to get two piercings, my belly button and my cartilage. My blood sugar was low and I nearly passed out after the second piercing, but the artist helped me back to my chair and gave me a bottle of water. He was sincere in making sure I was ok, instead of being condescending or rude about it, which I really appreciated. This is where the review gets negative. My naval piercing was completely crooked. Not just slightly, severely. He assured me that it was only temporary, but it was not. Several months later it still had not healed properly (I think I was allergic to the material in the ring), so I gave up and removed it. My cartilage piercing looked fine, but the stud he used wasn't long enough and my ear became infected (again I think I was allergic to the ring and the irritation spurred an infection) and swelled up over the earring. I had to go to a different shop where they changed the earring for me and offered care instructions, free of charge (Evolved, in Columbus if you're interested). I would not recommend this place for a piercing. However, I know a couple people who had their tattoos done here and the work turned out great, so considering the service I received I would recommend them for a tattoo. Read Less

All the guys in here are super nice and professional. I got my stomach done by Travis and he killed it! Love how big it is inside compared to the other tattoo shops I've went to. Travis refused to give me a real price, or even an idea of what he was going to do for the touch up on my cover up. When I asked how much he wouldn't give a straight answer on the price all he said was that it would probably take "three or four visits" and that it would be "150 to 200$ a visit"....what a rip off! The original cover up was only 250$ and all I was asking him to do was freshen it up! I went to bootleg tattoo and they were nicer, and the manager says he can probably fix it up in an hour for 100 bucks. Paid 50 plus tax to get my nips pierced. Guy messed up on right and told me it's not crooked it'll go back to normal when the swellings gone. Never did so just took them out. Big waste of money. He didn't even go the prepping right. Read Less

I've gotten all 4 of my tattoos done here and everyone has been great except Travis. He completely messed up my tattoo even with the picture right in front of him and over charges. My advice is to get anyone except him. Read Less
