We welcome all and work with every person to find their own creation to represent their place in life with art piece designed to fit their body canvas. We are family friendly and work to accommodate special requests and needs. We know that everyone is on their own journey and we feel honoured when we are allowed to take part. Whether its a tribute to mom, a symbol of service, or a whimsical memory of younger years, we are here for all of your design need to help you show your story on your skin, forever. Tony, the owner also does tattoos. He doesn’t keep his appointments, he does ok work on some things but not everything. I have had 2 appointments cancelled by him and others cut short for his personal life reasons. My tattoo was supposed to be 4/ 3 hr sessions. I have had 5 1/2 and still not done. Took me 3 months to get an appointment this last and he called me 20 min before asked me if I was going to be there and when I said yes, he flaked on me. Yet again!! Tipped him well for what he was doing, so it’s not the fact that I was stiffing him. I wouldn’t suggest him to anyone. Go at your own risk if you want a tattoo that will take more than one session. Also, was supposed to have an appointment this passed Saturday at 5pm, he called and canceled again. Told me he would call me back to reschedule my appointment. It’s Monday, still haven’t heard from him.

The design agreed upon was a black outline, and that's what I wanted. During the tattooing, the lines were filled in with "grey" without my knowledge and the gapping was uneven (the design was suppos...
The design agreed upon was a black outline, and that's what I wanted. During the tattooing, the lines were filled in with "grey" without my knowledge and the gapping was uneven (the design was suppose to be symmetrical) and appeared to be rushed. I should note the artist was repeatedly distracted by their young child.

This shop is incredible! All of the artists are so talented, you really couldn't go wrong with anyone, but I will be a customer of Tony's until the day comes that I can't think of another tattoo I want! He does amazing work, he's awesome to work with and he's just a genuinely great guy! You definitely won't regret having some of his art on your skin forever!

My best friend came to Yellow Springs to visit for the New Year and we decided to get tattoos. Totem was suggested and I am so glad that we took the advice. Walking into Totem is like walking into an artsy warm living room with great music playing and a kind host. Tony was the tattoo artist, and was so lovely to talk with as we spent hours telling our stories and where we all came from. I definitely recommend Totem as an amazing place to get a tattoo! I'll definitely be back in the future �

I have had work done by both Tony and Matt. Tony did my side piece and anchor. The side piece was something that I promised a friend I would get for him, and Tony made sure the piece was something I was proud of. The anchor was for my son and it was my first tattoo somewhere people could see all the time. I get so many compliments. All of his lines are clean and they both look amazing. Matt did the feather on my right arm for my mom. My brother and I got matching ones. Again amazing line work. I love all of them!
