I am very specific on where I go for my tattoos. Verbal recommendations as well as a visit to talk to the staff is always must. This is a small shop but not crowded. The artists are all easy to talk to and have their own art on the walls. They will willingly tell you if another artist has more of a specialty in a certain type and feature each other's work on themselves. After checking them out and having the artist go over the design, we had my daughter's first tattoo done here. It was well done, no scarring or infection, and the area was very clean. I went in to get a small tattoo by Levi and he was extremely rude to me and my friends. He was impatient, rushed me, told me he wasn’t going to waste paper on printing different fonts and sizes, told me I needed to make a decision after spending two minutes with me and said he needed to be somewhere by 6 (had a 3:30 appointment for super small, simple tatto).. I've wanted to cover up a tattoo for years. After deciding on an image I liked, I began researching tattoo places in the area. A friend of mine referred me to, Black Dahlia, and told me to check out their FB page. I critiqued each artists work and was blown away by Tim's attention to detail. I stopped in the shop and talked with him briefly. Explained what I wanted based on a rough idea. He quickly sketched something on paper and then drew it on me so that I could see what i...t may look like. Feeling hopeful, I booked an appointment for 2 weeks later. Tim did an amazing job. He listened to what I wanted and tweaked the design even more to fit my exact expectations. He was knowledgeable and professional. The shop was clean and the materials sterile (am a nurse and am very picky about sterility).
