This is an amazing place with some very talented artists....my favorite by far is Joey, who did an amazing portrait of my grandson.....they seem to really care about the client and do their best to make sure the job is done correctly and looks amazing! I was just talking to a friend who had some work done who went to different place instead of "his normal guy". The experience was not good for him which prompted me to go online to see if Dave was still doing his thing. I'm so happy that he is. I've been to a few different places but I found my home at Atom Bomb. People still talk about his Frank Miller Batman he did for me. Chris Jacobs is awesome. I won't let anyone else do my tattoos ever again only him. He has done a  recolor, a cover up and 2 super amazingly detailed tattoos on me. If you want one of a kind  great tattoos go to Chris. If you are worried about how much it will cost well you get what you pay for. It may be a good tattoo shop, has the aesthetics of one, but if I were you, only trust Brian. Chris Jacobs is AWFUL. He has such a heavy hand, and left raised skin on the parts of my tattoo that he worked on. Not to mention, it hurt way more than it should have. He freehanded the first part of my sleeve (which I am having finished by someone else), charged me $175 an hour and milked it for all he got. Drew all over me in sharpie, outlined in grey, then went back around and outlined in black, THEN finally filled it in. I will never recommend this shop to anyone because of this. Best tattoo shop in Northeast Ohio, period.  Atom Bomb crafts amazing work in a safe environment that uses the most modern equipment.This is a custom tattoo shop.  You don't walk in and pick something off the wall and start getting inked--you make an appointment for a consultation and go from there.  This place has a long waiting list, so it may be a few months before you get your work done, but it's worth it.  My wife and I have had good work from other shops, but nothing near the quality of Atom Bomb.  I get all my work done by Dave, but all the artists are great.  Everyone is friendly, funny, and completely honest about what you can and cannot accomplish with a tattoo.  Dave is an impressive artist--I've seen him execute concepts to amazing results with little preparation, and I've also seen him create 3D artwork on a computer to make sure a design's light source is appropriate.  His tattoo portraits that exactly look like the original photo, and he can always make the most minute details work in any tattoo.  He's just willing to take on the difficult work that a lot of people will avoid.  My wife had an idea for a great tattoo, but she was turned away from four different shops because the design was too complex.  She went to Dave and he took on the challenge.  The end result was one of those portfolio pieces that give other tattoo artists boners. Atom Bomb keeps a clean and sterile environment--to hospital standards and the equipment is top-of-the-line and modern.  The tattoo guns run off of an air compressor and they are incredibly quiet and smooth.  When the job is done, your tattoo is dressed with Tegaderm, a dressing usually meant for burn victims.  This stuff is amazing--the clear plastic sheeting essentially acts as an instant scab that you wear for five days.  This causes the tattoo to heal faster, retain more ink, and mostly skip past the itching stage.  Visit their website and check out the online portfolios; you'll see some amazing work.  Everything they tattoo turns out just as good as what you see on the web. Had a fantastic experience here. It was my first tattoo and Chris did an incredible job. The shop is hospital clean, they use new needles every time. I cant stress enough how incredibly clean this place is. As with any tattoo shop the Artists live in their own Narcissistic world.. But when approached they were surprisingly talkative and nice. For bio-mechanical tattoos, Dave is the best you will find. I found the shop rather pricey.. But this was my first tattoo so what the hell do i know?They take walk-ins and credit cards. Read Less
