Best shop I've ever been to! The shop was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with a chill and friendly atmosphere. Rachel was my artist, but every artist there was INCREDIBLE - the only shop I've seen where I could walk in and be thrilled with whoever was available. I had such a positive experience at Studio 13! I had a tattoo done a year ago from a different tattoo shop and I felt like they were just trying to get money out of me and get me out as quick as possible. I wasn't properly educated on aftercare and the tattoo scarred and did not heal properly. It was a bit traumatic and I didn't think I ever get a tattoo again but everyone at studio 13 made me feel welcome and Kyle was so confident that he could make my tattoo look beautiful again that I felt comfortable in his ability. This was my first tattoo, and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The shop is beautiful and absolutely spotless. People were constantly cleaning throughout the entire 4 hours I was there- you could tell they took it very seriously. Everyone was polite, professional, and friendly. I was absolutely comfortable at every step in the process. My artist, Kyle Kozek, is so incredibly talented. I gave him an idea of what I wanted and then put trust in him as an artist, which paid off completely. I couldn't see the work while it was being done, but the big reveal didn't disappoint. I've never seen a tattoo this beautiful in person. I didn't know people could draw this beautifully with markers, let alone with needles! Additionally, Kyle was just a great, friendly guy. I chatted with him for most of the 4 hours, and I basically want to be best friends with him and his family now. I would let him tattoo my grandma, if Grandma would go for it. Been looking for a tattoo shop for a while and struck gold with this place. Awesome environment, amazing artists, and a wonderful overall experience! Compared to the traditional tattoo shop which can seem small, this place is unique in that it’s theme is to have an “open environment” for customers to get amazing tattoos all while enjoying the open scenery around them such as the artwork displayed on the walls and being able to watch others get tattooed. All artists are amazin...g but touching on the guy who tattooed me, Kyle, he was welcoming, humble, down to earth, and an all around great guy. Entire staff knows what they are doing and answered all questions that I had. I chose Josh Smith as my tattoo artist and he was fantastic. EXTREMELY talented and super fun to talk to. As a person getting a tattoo for the first time, I was very nervous and unsure of everything. However, Studio 13 did a great job with easing me into it and making the process easy! The entire studio was very clean, sterile, and open, with artwork around to look at during the appointment. I met Kyle from Studio 13 at a tattoo convention and loved his portfolio. I ended up driving 6 ish hours to the shop for my tattoo and I definitely wasn't disappointed.
