Great experience from start to finish even though I am a pain to work with. Didn't know what to expect getting my first tattoo only had concept art to go off of and Mike made sure i was well taken care of. Process was easy as could be and Mike put great detail in making my art personal. I was very comfortable the entire time, made sure I got anything I needed , and made sure I knew what to do afterwords. The shops other artists were very friendly and there was plenty of cool stuff to check out while you wait. The store was also very clean, no complaints all around. I spoke to the manager on the phone for about 45 minutes about their personal age limit to do tattoos. The manager told me that he would do anyone 15 and older (I am 16) because it was the legal age restriction in Lucas County, OH. He transformed me to another artist in his shop who I specifically told him I did not want. I set up an appointment anyway to get my art work drawn up with the artist after talking to him on the phone. I was super excited. I went in for my appointment the next day and my artist told me that he would not tattoo me because I looked too young. I gave him my birth certificate and my Drivers License to prove I was not under the age restriction. He said it didn't matter because his manager said he can only do anyone 18+ no matter the tattoo. I was super frustrated. I explained to him that I personally spoke with not only him, but the MANAGER who told me it was okay to come get a tattoo. He said he didn't care and would not do it. I told him that was unacceptable and very unprofessional until he finally he agreed to leave my name and number for the manager (he was not present that day even though he said he would be). It was Friday and he said the manager would get back to me by Tuesday at the very least. I was still very frustrated but decided to deal with it and wait for him to call me. It's been almost a month and no one from the shop has tried to contact me at all. Very very frustrating and unprofessional. Great people, great atmosphere, great experience! This was a new place for me. I live in toledo and had never had an experience from these awesome gentlemen before. But my sisters came across them just seeing reviews online. Overall I went in met Ben a great tattoo artist, not really knowing what to expect. To be honest I was a little nervous. These gentlemen were nothing but professional. Ben did an amazing job and honestly just from a customer service point of view made me feel 100 percent more conformable. I will not go to a different tattoo artist as long as I'm in northern Ohio! These guys are class A gentlemen a little scary until you hear them speak and you completely understand they know what they are doing and how to make your tattoo experience the best one you can think of! Disclaimer- I consider the owner a good friend. With that said, go in and see for yourself. Mike and his guys will earn your business. I am very confident in this. I live out of state and it took years to get into Mike. Now that I finally have ink from Mike, I feel I can write this review. He had a cancellation and I was lucky enough to get the opening. I threw out an idea, and by the time I drove down to the shop he had it ready. I gave him artistic freedom. He came up with something I would have never thought of or picked for that matter. The longer I look at it, the more I love it. Like I said, go see for yourself. You won't regret giving these guys your business. They love what they do and it shows. Excellent place. I highly recommend it. The parlour itself is very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The artists and staff are exceptionally friendly. Finally, Scotty did a great job with my tattoo. He had very good ideas (I wanted something simpler but the ideas and designs were great). The final piece looks good.
