Very very sweet artist. He was so kind and understanding. Unfortunately my tattoo is already 50% faded and it’s been less than 6 months. My tattoo is mostly blown out lines and most of the people who see it can’t read what it says. It was a tribute tattoo and meant the world to me but the final product makes me cry when I look at it (and not in a good way). The tattoo unfortunately doesn’t look anything like the stencil that was on my body. Needless to say i am so so sad. Read Less

I am amazed at all the positive reviews I'm seeing considering Craig, the owner, did not do a good job on my tattoo at all. I'm not sure how it is to put a triangle on someone's side, but he sure made it a chore. This was my fourth tattoo so I went in expecting someone who knew what they were doing. During the prep and creation of the stencil he said, "You know, I think all artists are a little autistic." Personally, I don't think that is very good talk coming from someone you don't know anything about. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, or maybe I'm just picking out selective things to further prove my point about my bad experience, but I still don't think he should be saying things like that. To each their own. While I was on the chair and actually getting the tattoo, he did not listen to me at all. Of course I was reacting to the pain, but when I would ask him to give me a minute so I could get a drink of water or just breathe for a second he would ignore me completely. He said, "Sorry. I just go into a zone." That'd be okay if you weren't literally causing me severe pain (don't get a tattoo on your ribs if you can't handle the pain on your inner arm or somewhere simple like that). He would start up again when I was clearly not prepared for it, and he just didn't seem to care about my readiness or comfort. He drew up the stencil, which looked great on paper, but it's like he began free-handing it when he was actually doing the tattooing part. The lines are not straight, they are different thicknesses and the colors are not at all how they are meant to look. I had to tell him the order of the colors of a rainbow... like the color wheel. There is no excuse to not know the color wheel if you call yourself an artist. Now, to be fair, he was very accommodating. He was supposed to close at 11, but we did not finish until 11:45. I walked in at 9:45. The time was not bad considering I didn't have any kind of appointment. He also gave very good direction on how to clean the tattoo including some tips I've never heard before. I had a bad feeling in my gut as soon as this guy started talking to me, and I regret not listening to it. Thankfully, I went to a place I trust a whole lot more to see if they can fix it, and it can be fixed. I regret giving this man $80 for a simple triangle with some colors in it. Read Less
