I didn't catch his name but the guy who was in the front was an ASSHOLE when we came in and asked for walk-ins. APPARENTLY a bunch of artists were out today and when I called yesterday he said NOTHING...
I didn't catch his name but the guy who was in the front was an ASSHOLE when we came in and asked for walk-ins. APPARENTLY a bunch of artists were out today and when I called yesterday he said NOTHING about it, and then today when we walked in today like he told me to do YESTERDAY, he got all pissy and said "what did I say when you called yesterday??" And I said "you told me to walk in????" And he was like "we i SHOULD have told you that all of our artists were out for today so I don't know who YOU talked to". Such an ASS. We will NOT be going back there for the soul reason that this guy was such a shit head. HORRIBLE service. They can shove it up their ass.

My first tattoo done there was done by Jimmy and it came out perfect so went back 2 weeks later and got another one and since then I have added 2 more and got one touched up. All of mine have been done by Jimmy and I will not go anywhere else. Will be getting more done here pretty soon. I love the place cause everyone there is so nice and the place is sooooo clean. Also I'm in my 60's and still treated respectfully and I really appreciate that.

State Street Tattoo is a first class tattoo shop. I’ve been getting tattooed since I was 17 (with moms signature). Once I found State Street, in 2012, there has been no other shop I’d rather go to. They have collected an amazing group of artists who can tattoo all styles. Very professional and knowledgeable with their craft. The body piercer Will is precise and patient and Billy behind the desk is extremely helpful as well as entertaining. Everyone at State Street Tattoo are excellent and awesome people. Excited for my next visit. State Street Tattoo in Salem, OH is the place to be!

I love state street!!!!! I’ve gotten most of my tattoos here and NEVER had a bad experience. I’ve been tattooed mainly by Cory but also have a tattoo from Dave and Gary and I’m 100% happy with them. Not only are the tattoos great but also I’ve been treated like a friend every time I’ve been in there. It’s totally work the 2 hour drive.

He made us feel very relaxed and we knew we were in good hands..ourdesigns were exactly what we envisioned and we were more than satisfied. We will be back and refer our friends to State Street. The incredibly talented artists here at State Street Tattoo are perfectionists, and it shows in their work. If you're flexible on quality, you have a lot of choices in Stark county, but if you're serious about ink, SST is where you want to be.

My friend had questions about piercings and every answer given was very informing. After listening to Will speak about piercing I will only be getting piercings by him & only getting tatted by the guys/gals in this shop. The environment there is so laid back. Never felt more relaxed while having a needle shoved into my skin. Lol. Keep up the great work guys!!!

My son and I were in just last night! Turning 40 this year I wanted to go big and Scott definitely delivered and Kira did an amazing job on my sons chest piece! I will be returning to finish mine as soon as I get word that all healed from last night! I love what Scott designed for me! Every element I wanted he hit spot on! Plus he was so respectful to me when I needed to take a break and when I wanted to call it a night! Definitely the right choice for something that meant a lot to me!

My boyfriend has gotten tattooed by everyone but Cory. Always put out amazing work and some great ideas. I will not go to another shop & it's almost an hour away from me. I love this place!

They're clean, professional, and care about the fact that they're putting permanent art on your body (they won't just copy your shitty ass design you brought in and tattoo you). I have brought many ideas to these guys and they've made the designs 10x better. "Trust the artist" here. They know what they're doing. I will continue to get my future artwork done here. And how can you beat a shop that offers a kickass Friday the 13th sale?! � highly recommend

Great place full of incredibly talented artists who always go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your work before, during and after they put it on your skin! I can't say enough about this place, the atmosphere is welcoming, they have a comfortable waiting area where you can watch a movie while you wait, all of the artists are top notch, the shop minimum is only 30 bucks so if you want something small you know they aren't going to rake you over the coals just to turn a buck! I HIGHLY recommend State Street to anyone looking for some new ink. I have a friend who has to travel 3 hours to come here, but she won't go anywhere else!

Best tattoo shop in the area super clean and everything they use is sealed so u know it's safe everyone in there is real cool so it makes the time your getting tatted go faster great price and awesome artwork.. They close at 9 and I don't get off work till 10 so the owner hooked me up by staying there till 1am to get my tattoo done very happy with my results and with the price and definitely going back and getting all my work done by state street tattoos
