Twinky did a great job talked us through what to expect how to treat our new piercings and had a good sense of humor. I went in to see the Awesome artist Chris Fullam , he has done all my tattoos and does the best portraits I've ever seen. I get compliments all the time on the memorial tat he did of my Dad and just got started on my service dog's portrait, it looks fantastic. Chris is very accommodating and has flexible hours. He always makes sure that we leave happy even if it means staying there way past close. So the place might not look like the tattoo Hilton on the inside or outside, but you can blame the owner for that. I've been in there ( Moraine location) numerous times while watching my friends and relatives getting tattooed. 2 of my friends went to Gabe for arm tattoos, and everyone else went to Steve. Steve does EXCELLENT portrait work, and anything else you put in front of him. I can't recommend him highly enough. He's friendly, patient, willing to help with any questions you might have, and is very CLEAN. The man must have washed his hands 10x when we were in there. Needless to say, everyone was pleased and is still bragging about their awesome tats! So here is the bad news, avoid Gabe. He's not too friendly, not very clean- I've witnessed him picking his nose and wiping it on himself- his art needs some work, and the tats he gave my friends ended up looking like a cartoon version of what they wanted to begin with. Steve has since covered them up for them. I went to Tattoo Tech for the first time when I was 16 to get my belly button pierced. I got my first tattoo there a week after I turned 18. And since then, I have gotten another tattoo and a tongue piercing. Steve has done both of my tattoos and they look awesome! I've recommended this place (and Steve, by name) to 5 other friends, including my husband. They have all gone and gotten tattoos and piercings. AVOID these studios at all costs. Being a veteran tattoo collector and having seen many a dangerous studio in my day, I was blow away by tattoo tech's uncleanliness! It looked as if people lived there(at all three locations), cluttered stations, soda cans laying all around and a filthy floor! I watched as the so-called artists improperly setup for procedures, contaminating the whole setup. I witnessed NO ONE wash their hands even ONCE! Then their work... I've met children artists more capable than tattoo techs best artist. Crude abilities at best!Bottom line, if you want a poor looking tattoo, and want the potential infection associated with dirt holes like this, then goto tattoo tech.If you want a good piece of art and a safe procedure, then do your homework and RESEARCH you artists!!!But by all means, AVOID any Tattoo Tech locations!---Travis Read Less

I was nervous as hell when I got there, but I went through with it. I asked Gabe how bad a lip piercing hurts and he said not too bad. It was over and done with before I really knew. Just a little 'pinch' as it was described. The piercing leaked the red stuff a bit and I thought maybe something bad had happend but he assured me he had seen a lot more. He asked me if I was feeling alright and seemed genuine. It (the red stuff) soon stopped and he helped me clean it up. Overall, if your going to pay someone to hurt you, that is..put holes in your body. I would recommend tattoo tech to my friends and I will probably be going back there again. Read Less

I was very unhappy with Tattoo Tech. I did get with one of the tattoo guys there and go over a tattoo design that I was looking into getting. He was friendly (Steve) but the store as a whole didn't seem too happy to be working there. I ended up finding a better place to get my tattoo. If you really like the artist, go for it. The hours were horrible! They close at nine and I work 10am-8pm a lot and I could never get my tattoo done there! They said it was b/c of getting too much drunk people but it seemed like a big pile of BS(not really any bars around). I got off early at 7pm and went down there to talk with Steve (I really liked his work) but their hours and location made too much of an inconvenience. My day off was a wednesday and that was his day off... at least the shop I ended up going to, the artist was willing to work with my limited schedule. They could use some work. Read Less
