I have gotten all 3 of my tattoos done here over the past 11 years. The staff is personable. I liked how they talked to me while they worked and shared stories to make it easier and take my mind off of the pain. They are very professional, clean, and reasonable in pricing. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! These people are terrible at planning, and they can't spell since they misspelled my tattoo... Full story: I went in to ask about getting a tattoo. I described it to the guy at the front desk and he told me to email him pictures and describe what I wanted so he could send it to the artist, so I did that while I was there, and he confirmed he got it. He later responded that I could come in that Sunday to get the tattoo. I go in Sunday and the artist had not been told about my tattoo. So I had to wait another 2 weeks. Eventually I'm finally able to come in and get the tattoo. As it turns out, my artist is a smoker, and since you have to pay for your tattoo hourly, I had to wait several times while he went outside to smoke. When it came to the lettering on my tattoo, they showed me a paper with the writing and asked me which font I liked the best, I got to see it for about 5 seconds, and this is something I should have done in the weeks leading up to my tattoo, and they printed it out. They tattooed it on and I paid and left. The next day, I noticed they spelled a word wrong. I went back and they said they could fix it. The fixing process took about a month of my time and caused a lot if inconvenience. After it was "fixed" it looks terrible and you can very clearly see that they messed up. They never apologized for misspelling my tattoo. Then when I asked for a refund of some kind, they said it was my fault for not looking at the spelling and they were done with me. The owner as well as the workers were extremely rude and very unprofessional. Do not go here unless you don't care about someone taking the time to see if they spelled a word correctly or a company being nice to their customers. Read Less

Jax has done two of my tattoos and is amazing the whole shop is just very friendly and super nice recommended my boyfriend for his second tattoo and jax did it and he now will go to her for other tattoos. I always recommend north coast to people who want tattoos because they are all over awesome!! Read Less

Have to say these artists are top notch. Brought my daughter in to have her ears pierced for her 5th B-Day and they made her feel right at home. Totally professional, polite, and interacted well with my lil girl. They made her feel comfortable, explained everything to her as they would an adult, and made sure to tell her Happy Birthday. Jeffreys wife had the tatoo done. I have been to 5 different parlors and had work done. This place by far was the most upscale place I have gone to. Everyone I met was very helpful and welcoming. Love this shop! No other shops have made me feel so comfortable. The shop is super clean and spacious. Jax is an amazing artist I highly recommend. She does beautiful watercolor pieces & amazing line work. She went above and beyond with my tattoo. I wouldn't go to anyone else. The owner Rich is also super nice and does awesome work. I have been tattooed at a few different places locally, and will never go anywhere but North Coast again. Rich has done most of my tattoos and not only is he amazingly talented, he is a wonderful human being. My brother and I have been tattooed by him more than once, and recently I brought my dad, aunt, and GRANDMA in and we all got memorial tattoos for a family member we lost. He was so sincere and patient with us. He made it a great experience for all of us and everyone was ready to go back shortly after we finished. I never thought we would be laughing and joking and never would have imagined my grandma finding someone who made her comfortable enough to get a tattoo. She is in her seventies and has never been particularly fond of the idea! She even left the appointment planning her next! He really cares about his clients and makes you extremely comfortable through your entire appointment. Any other staff we have met have also always made us feel at home and comfortable as soon as we walk in the door. I called in and Grant was more than happy to take me in as a walk-in.  He carefully listened to what I wanted and drew up the perfect feather tattoo for my wrist.  He was quick, concise and very friendly.  He even put up with the kazillion questions my boyfriend had!
