I have been a frequent flyer at Hot Rod Tattooing since 2004, and I have nothing but good things to say about the shop and everyone in it from whom I've collected work. Over the years, the shop has housed many fine artists and continues to do so today. Sweet Chuck, the owner of the shop, is always pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The shop is pristine in cleanliness and safety. The artists there specialize in a variety of styles but don't hold themselves only to those and are willing to think outside the box when making your art. If you're getting tattooed in the Ohio Valley, I suggest no other shop!

Always excellent they had donuts and bottles of water for anyone in the waiting room or getting inked or pierce could grab some.i thought that was very kind and thoughtful and as always sweetchuck did amazing work he free handed the tattoo I've wanted for a long time that means so much to in remembrance of my grandmother. Thank you hot rod tattooing I'll be back asap.

I have looked forward to every appointment and every addition to my body art. I can't imagine the need to ever go anywhere else.

They were donating all proceed today to the humane society so there was a line to the end of the block. After waiting 5 1/2 hrs they refused to do my daughter tattoo because she is 17 (18 in2 wks). They wanted her birth certificate and my marriage license. Our drivers license wasn't enough. Like I had any idea they would ask for my marriage license. I even showed my child support card which had the same last name as hers. Come on people it's a tattoo. My son got one there when he was 17 and they didn't ask for anything. I feel like they didn't care because they weren't making any money. 5 1/2 hr.

I had my ears pierced before and the place did a bad job so I had them redone by Hot Rods and was so impressed! Don't go to those piercing places at the mall! Go to Hot Rods!

I have been going to this tattoo shop for years. Definitely the most talented artists in the Valley, each specializing in their own genre of art! I have never found this shop to be anything but sparkling clean, and the artist and piercers accolades on display are quite impressive. I also like that everyone that works there has Red Cross certifications that are both current and on display. If it's a quality tattoo at a fair price (you get what you pay for!) in a clean environment that you seek, Hot Rod is the place for you! Hell...even the maintenance guy is awesome!

Most importantly, these folks are always way ahead of the game with public health and safety. It's a beautiful, well kept shop and gallery. They also have a ton of unique high quality body jewelry. Highly recommended!

I brought my little sister here the other day to get her naval pierced. Let's just say she would of fainted just by seeing the needle. The staff was amazing with how they handled her. They explained in full detail about the whole process and what to expect. I was in the background telling her it doesn't hurt at all. When she was getting it done they had it all done before the pain kicked in so she laughed how scared she was. They did an amazing job with her. I recommend this place to people. It's clean and the staff is really friendly and very helpful!

I got my bar done and the bag of sea salt they gave me had cat or dog hair inside of it... its nice to get free sea salt but that grossed me out
