Terrible. Bob the butcher did mine. They don't have you sign any papers like every other tattoo joints I have been to. The guy (bob) did a TERRIBLE job with my tattoo. I mean BAD. Once it was done, it was too late. I had to touch it up myself as I wasn't going to go back to the butcher who did it. I went there because it has been there awhile and I live in Madison, so I thought I'd give them a shot. My daughter got a tat here a couple of years ago, and wasn't real happy, but did I listen? I got a septum ring here and it was the worst piercing I've ever had or seen done in my entire life. He used a HUGE ring, it was crooked, it was at the tip of my nose and bleeding and it was the worst pain I've ever been through. Also, I had to take it out immediately the same day and have it repierced. He sent me home with a smaller ring and said "Shhh" over his lips and said change it in 2 weeks. He knew he messed up. Just because I'm feeling a little bitter as I finally get around to scheduling my cover-up appointment… a couple years ago I went in with a tattoo I designed myself and sat down with an artist named Travis. My first red flag should've been that he scrapped my entire design– a pair of antlers, my font, everything and remade the entire tattoo using a template and basic script font on the computer. I settled for it because he insisted it was the better option, which was entirely... my fault. It included words, so we made sure the spelling was correct on the new design and he placed the copy onto my back for placement. It wasn't centered, so he resized it on the computer and we did it again. I didn't even think to check the spelling because we had already done it before he had to resize it… a fault I think both of us can own up to. Well, that pesky autocorrect. So, at the end of the day I had a tattoo with the wrong form of "you're" twice on my back. I stayed calm and figured this could be fixed… we had "your" on there and just needed to slap on an apostrophe and an e. Easy enough, right? Wrong. I called Travis and he agrees to fix the issue. Paranoid, I asked him, "this won't look funny or too thick?" And he assured me it wouldn't. However, I went home that day with "your'e" not once but TWICE on my back and done with a different sized needle. I paid $180 for this. About a year later, I ended up in that shop with a friend and brought the ordeal up to Kim in passing while I was in there. All they said was, "he doesn't work here anymore." I went into the shop and gave them my idea. Which turned out great. But then once we got done they just put a paper towel over it and let me leave. I got no after care instructions or anything. Very unprofessional. Then when I asked what I should do to keep it clean. I was told just to wash it and not to put anything on it. Now this was my first tattoo. It was very dry and irritated so I looked up what I could put on it and I got some stuff. But even the guy who just did my husbands tattoo yesterday said it should have never gotten that dry. I started getting tattoos here when Dave was an artist,since he's no longer there I tried the other artists which the tattoos are fine I just don't click with them and they won't stand by a former artists work. I went to get my daith pierced for my headaches Bob said he's done a hundred of them and it took him less than 30 seconds he shoved some needle through my ear and he said I was  all done the most painful thing I've ever went through and when I was done he had me sign a paper usually they let you sign the paper before you get the work done then I looked in the mirror and noticed he did not even pierce the right part he did the rook part of my ear. I have got a tattoo done by jay and he has pierced me as well as my friend. I love my tattoo and everyone there was very professional. I defiantly recommend going there. I was told by other places that they couldn't do my piercing because of skarring and jay said it would be no problem. I love my dermals! Read Less

I don’t know what it is with this guy, I have gave him the nick name Matt EGO Evans. Basically I had him do a portrait of Mount Rushmore and let me tell you he did the worst job. My friends joke about how he made the Andrew Jackson Look like Michael Jackson. I think he did it on purpose, the guy said he was going to give me a crappy tattoo, I just thought he was joking he really did. Ive since had to spend over $2,000 dollars on a tattoo, that they refused to fix. I have a lot of respect for the owners Kim and Randy and that’s the only reason I’m not pressing charges, Even know that he does nothing but talk behind theyre back about how much they do not know how to run a business.
