I got my very first tattoo from Brian Welsh at Artistic Expressions in August of 2011, on my best friend's recommendation, and I am SO glad I did. I walked in with a dumbed down picture of angel wings that, according to Brian, looked like a Groucho Marx moustache, and he turned it into something so beautiful and unique and realistic that I was utterly speechless. Since then, he's done a second one of my three tattoos (an Eye of Horus, with a cat's eye instead of the traditional version, located on my thigh), and even though I'm moving soon, I only ever plan to go back to him - considering that I'm moving three hours away across the state line, that's saying something, I think. The shop is clean, professional and friendly, his prices are reasonable (the wings with the Latin script I got on my back ended up being $130, including the Tattoo Goo I purchased, and the Eye of Horus was around $62, not including tax), he's talented as hell, and he's a consummate professional - you barely feel the prick of the needle when he starts tattooing. Plus? He's got an awesome sense of humor, and he's fantastic at making you feel comfortable when you're in the chair. Any time I get into a conversation about tattoos, my first reaction is to refer them here.Currently, Brian doesn't have a website for the shop, but you can find pictures of his tattoos and designs on Facebook, here: facebook.com/pages/Artis… Read Less
