First, background: I had permanent makeup done on my eyebrows by a DIFFERENT PLACE years ago. I was told I was getting microblading.... I believe a traditional tattoo gun was used as I heard loud buzzing and the strokes quickly turned into a block of color that looked horrible to say the least. I should note that the person that performed my "microblading" was a certified permanent makeup artist and was very confident in their work. I had multiple touch ups done to try and maintain the strokes I was going for, but no dice. It finally got to the point that I realized just how terrible my eyebrows looked, and had to go the route of multiple sessions of laser removal to get rid of these "tattoos". It was such a terrible experience: painful, costly, etc.. During months of sessions of removal, I knew I wanted to get my eyebrows microbladed, but I had no idea where to go and was beyond fearful of another bout of botched work. I was blessed to find Amber at Brow Envy by hashtagging on Instagram, and coming across her page full of beautiful microbladed brows that were identical to what I originally wanted. Amber and I corresponded through chats & text messages. I had a final laser session coming up which was perfect because she was booked out 6 months at the time. I was honestly not apprehensive whatsoever because not only had I seen those beautiful before and afters, but I could see how much attention to detail and passion she had for what she did. To put it in a nutshell, Amber knows her stuff. She has a plethora of training, experience, honesty, integrity, and she is so down-to-earth. She is friendly, but she is also extremely professional. She takes her time to understand what you want, educates you on how things are done, and thoroughly details every aspect of your brows. You will leave feeling like a million bucks, and confident in your brows (yes, there is a healing process, but follow instructions and it isn't even remotely bad and every procedure will require healing and aftercare). Amber makes sure you are happy, and she truly takes pride in her work and giving clients every ounce of attention they deserve. To say that Amber changed my life with my eyebrows is not an understatement. I get to wake up everyday feeling great about my brows and trusting the person who created them. Amber is a great communicator, and if there's anything you want to tweak she will gladly do it. Ladies, gentlemen, whoever reads this: please, from the bottom of my heart, choose Brow Envy and know you are in good hands with any of their artists. I went with my adult daughter. She loves it! She has had two services, microbladed brows and lift and tint lashes. Stylish, clean, upbeat salon. Friendly staff, enjoyed the wait. Quiet music and relaxing. My daughter is more beautiful than ever, if that's possible! Read Less

Amber is amazing! I found her by simply googling and checking reviews. After reading countless wonderful reviews, I contacted her and she was booked out almost 6 months. I didn't want to wait that long, but I am so glad I did! The wait and money is so worth it! Amber is truly talented, patient, and friendly! This salon is by far the nicest I've been to. Without being over the top, the building is open and airy and very chic! Just what a girl wants when she's taking some "me" time! I've only had the pleasure of working with Jennifer (eyelash extensions) and she is fantastic! I literally lay down on the lounge chair, close my eyes, and for the next hour I relax while Jennifer takes my eyelashes from "eh" to "OMG Fabulous"!! I've never really understood all the hoopla about getting eyelashes extended, but now that I've had them done, I'm completely hooked! I have drawn my eyebrows on for probably 15+ years with everything under the sun....pencils, waterproof liquid, shadows, you name it. That is when I saw a post from Amber for Brow Envy Cincy. Her work was amazing, and so real looking! I decided to schedule and let me tell you, it was the BEST decision and money I have ever spent. My face looks complete, it cut my primping time by 10 minutes and I feel great wearing just a little mascara. I don't have a need to "full face" it every day just so I can have eyebrows. I have had my microbladed brows for a few weeks now and they still look amazing, fresh, perfect in shape and the pigment is exact what i wanted. I couldn't be happier with amber! :) Also everything was very clean, professional atmosphere! Amber spent close to an hour with me shaping my brows to my personal preferences and helped me with any concerns I had. She then applied a numbing cream to ensure I was totally comfortable and didn't feel anything besides slight pulling and pressure. Getting ready now only takes a few minutes for an everyday look, and I have Amber to thank! I used to fill in my brows constantly and they came off in the gym, pool, end of the day...etc. It really saves time on your makeup. I had perfect brows for my wedding, honeymoon and beyond. Amber is fantastic and so sweet--she did a wonderful job on my brows. I was nervous at first as the process is semi-permanent but Amber answered all of my questions which put me at ease.
