Had a small tattoo done here. Didn't realize at the time because I was excited to get another tattoo but not a single piece of paperwork was filled out or my id copied. That should have been a red flag because I ended up with a very heavy handed tattoo that has no clean edges and has zero consistent fill. Healing is leaving me with a brand new tattoo that looks like a 15 year old prison tat that I way overpaid for. Went to talk about it and was told "no refunds EVER" and that I'm not a tattoo artist so I don't know anything. Guy got within a foot of my face with some whacked out eyes while I tried to have a calm conversation. Was told I could have it touched up for free, AS IF. Never again. I took my 13 year old daughter here to get her daith pierced to help with her migraines. The piercer apparently doesn't know what a daith piercing is because he pierced her frontal helix. Because of this place she had to go through the pain of a whole new piercing (at a different shop of course). RESPONSE: if this allowed me to post a picture, I would. You pierced the wrong place. I went here to get my nipples pierced. They had the wrong address to start with but when I finally found it I walk in. The musics was screaming loud and the man didn’t even notice I was in there. I ask to use the rest room and he showed me to the restroom. He was smoking in the bottom of the shop. We pierced them an after he put the jewelry in he lost one of the balls beside my leg and tried to find it with his finger and could not find it. So he had me lean over only to lose it and jab me in the vagina. again on the other side he asked me to lean over and jabbed me in the Vagina all while looking for a ball. I just called this hell hole for help on a piercing I received from another place and I am having trouble with it. So I needed to find someone else's help and calling there IT WAS THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIVE !!!!!!! he was the nastiest man I ever talked to he told me that since I did not trust him in the first place that it was my problem not his I told him that was kind a rude for him to say that then he said to me '' WELL FUCK YOU!!! how is that to talk to someone like that. Then my husband called back and he said he would like to talk to the owner and this ignorant self proclaimed man who by the way is a disgrace to man kind who own a business like that or any kind of business or not even owning a business. Called this shop to ask questions about septum piercing and prices. Woman on the phone was incredibly rude when I asked why their price was so high. Answered my questions in short sentences and didn't elaborate unless I pressed the question. Gave up on this shop and went to Freedom Ink instead. This post is only a reflection of the tongue piercing service I received 4 weeks ago. Everybody I know that has their tongue pierced claims it did not hurt at all when they got it done. When I got mine done it hurt a lot (but that is not why I'm writing this review). I followed the instructions to a T, only to find out today my tongue is not only torn, but infected. And apparently I was pierced straight through my webbing. I will never return to this place for any business, and I can only assume that any place that would hire a piercer of this level, has no care for their customer's satisfaction. Read Less

Brian (or bryan) not sure how he spells it, did my tattoo last night that I wanted in memory of my grandma. He is absolutely amazing. Words can't describe how much I love this tattoo, when I got home and looked at it in the mirror again, I could have cried. It means the world to me. I have 2 tattoos from black heart. Both are messed up. Honestly the guys are very nice I just dont think their work is very good. When I got my first tattoo there I was young and was actually pleased with it thats because I wasn't very knowledgeable about what great tattoos look like. The line work is extremely inconsistent on my first one. Though the guy that did it doesn't work there anymore.  My second one the hand on my praying hand is deformed. I rarely see any original, Quality and detailed artwork come out of that establishment. It's all stupid little corny cartooney tattoos. If you're looking to get something realistic or detailed. I don't recommend at all. And as for the "reasonable prices" (which is true) but with tattoos you get what you pay for. On a good not for my 3rd tatttoo I did some looking around and came across Blue Magic Tattoo and spent the best few hundred dollars to have Tim Adair which is the owner to the most amazing tattoo I could imagine. Extreme detail and amazing line work. Shading is on point. Just stunning. So all this bullshit about Black Heart being the best around is absolutely false. Just being honest. Don't ask for detailed reviews and get butt hurt when you get the truth about personal opinions. Read Less

I called to make an appointment and described what I needed done (just a touch up). I said it would be fairly easy because I just need some spots filled in. To then he replied, "Oh, I didn't know you were a tattoo artist. People say that all the time but they really don't know what they're talking about". He needs to see it first, I understand that. But the attitude wasn't appreciated. Some words of advice? Don't get cocky with potential customers, ECSPECALLY when you're not getting any business.
