I was extremely impressed with the work I received from Jake Richman! While it was really difficult to choose from the wall of awesome custom artwork he had showing, I decided on a warhorse with a really tough spike helmet. Jake walked me through the color palette he envisioned, his equipment and sterilization, and made sure I was comfortable before ever putting needle to skin. Jake was extremely personable and courteous during the tattoo. I was so relaxed; time flew by! Jake went over aftercare in detail. We took our boys, age 7 and 11, into main street yesterday to get their ears pierced. Elyjah was beyond phenomenal! I loved the experience. I called on Friday and was able to get in on Saturday for a tattoo. I got a quote over the phone and the artist Andrew Olmstead stayed true to the quote. Did an amazing job, great customer rapport, and he answered any questions I had and helped me decide on the font for the tattoo that I wanted. Really laid back shop and everyone was really friendly. Main Street Ink is absolutely amazing! The shop is very clean and hygienic and it looks a million times better with the new renovations! The overall atmosphere and vibe is what keeps me coming back. Worst place ive ever been to in my life, not only is the place obviously dirty as sh*t, but the people are rude as fu*k, i had been in previously about a year or so ago and wasnt thrilled about it but loved the tattoo artist i had seen named Danny. So i figured id go back because he was an amazing artist and i really was ready for some new ink from him. When i arrived i found out he was no longer there, witch was really all that shop had going for it. The "owner" was incredibly rude and very gangster like. But i thought it was just his personality, till he left with some other workers of the shop and came back in smelling of weed, then proceeded to greet some other gangster looking man that came in and went into the back of the shop and was only there for about 2minutes an obvious drug deal, as i saw this a few times over. Anyway as uncomfortable i was getting i decided i would skip the tattoo and get a piercing and get the fu*k out of there and try to find "danny" so he can do my work again. BUT i ended up leaving even worse then what i was because their piercer Marcus was incredibly inappropriate by going way over bored with flirting with me and just giving weird slight touches that were not professional. Worst costumer service/care ive ever had. i have 10 tats and many piercings all of which i have all gotten at different shops because i travel. I recently walked into this tattoo studio. It was dark, dirty, and full of rude employees. If I am paying you to do my tattoo you think as a customer I would get some sort of respect. My friends warned me not to go in, but with all the deals I thought I would check it out. Seriously disappointed. I think the only reason they have business is because of their deals. People don't want to pay a decent amount for a tattoo, so they will go into a dirty place just to get some ink. Did I mention there was NO AC in there! This place is a joke.
