The reason I won't give a 1/5 is because no one was rude to me. However, my experience was less than desirable. I contacted an employee through both the Facebook messenger app and his phone number on Monday to schedule a piercing at 4pm with Ester on Thursday. I arrive at 4:10. It's only at 4:40 that I'm informed that she will be arriving in 15 minutes. There were two other workers there; one had Ester on the phone and I overhead him say to her, "No more forgetting, don't forget next time." So unless you want to get your piercing done an hour late by someone who forgot about a scheduled appointment, at a studio that smells of body odor and cigarette smoke, do not come to Southside Tattoo. Very clean. Awesome atmosphere. Great people! Got my first tattoo here. I have low pain tolerance, but got a large tattoo. Matt did awesome job and was able to do it at good steady fast pace. I went today and got a beyond beautiful piece done by Nate! He understood everything I wanted all the way down to the "danglys" and letting him put his own touches on was definitely worth it. I had a very emotional and sentimental piece done last night and these guys were absolutely amazing! I had to take a few moments and cry as it was getting done cause my emotions got the best of me as I watched my sister's name go on and matty was so supportive in understanding and comforting about it!
