Had my septum re-pierced by Peewee. He was very patient while I decided what size ring to use and nice enough to even wipe the tears off my face when my eyes started watering uncontrollably. I went to the one on Needmore road for my first tattoo and I am absolutely obsessed. Tim did my tattoo and he did an amazing job. He kept talking to me and eased my mind about the tattoo. I had a great time getting my tattoo done. I took a picture in there and showed it to Russ. He redrew it to a bigger size. Charged me a real reasonable $217 for excellent work. This kind of quality can not be beaten for this price. I had a good conversation with the man (Russ) as I got the work done. He is a funny dude which relieves tension and anxiety about getting tattooed if your scared. Location was my only problem here. I have never had any trouble though. these reviews are for east dayton tattoo, not private ink. Glen was at that location for 22 years and now he is located at 1844 s smithville rd. east dayton tattoo was established in 1986. not 2010. I dont know what the other reviewers problem is, but this is the best shop in town. My Husband and I have quite a bit of ink, I have 11 pieces alone. We wont go to anybody else. Sure we look at other shops and talk to other artists, Its always good to be informed, but if you want quality ink or peircings, this is the place to go. Glen has won multiple awards, including 1 for the piece on my arm. He has won Artist choice and people choice award 2 years running for 2 different back pieces at the NATIONAL CONVENTION. He has been in several national and INTERNATIONAL magazines. He is not a fly by night artist. Glen has a good hand and always draws a clean line, I have never scabbed or had problems wiht the aftercare he prescribes. The ""attitude"" the other reviewer talks about might have to do with the attitude of some of the customers they get, Everything from underage kids to people just looking for some cheap ink to street people come in the shop... Glen and Carol dont tolerate any of that, this is thier place of business, not a corner hang out. I have even been in the shop when customers will ask if there are any other shops in the area they can go to... HOW RUDE! Why would anyone suggest a competitor if this is what puts food on your plate and a roof over your head!? I have spent many hours in thier shop as a customer and a friend and have always felt welcome and comfortable If you want TOP QUALITY ART that will be with you FOREVER, this is the ONLY place to go. This tattoo/piercing shop is ehhhh....ok but there are much better ones out there.The staff wasn't welcoming it was like""don't waste my time.Hurry up and go"". They also pierce where they tattoo which is a no no because of contamination. My piercing came out fine but they gave me the wrong aftercare instructions and they told me to change out my own starter jewlery even though i was a novice at piercings :( It may be diffrent for the people out there im comp. land but.......i doubt it.
