She cares about her work and sets you up with the correct expectations of cost, vision, and walks you through any concerns or questions. I'm 32 years old and now just acquired my first tattoo. Getting a first tattoo for anyone is like sailing through uncharted territory. The staff at Sacred Hand were exceptional at making me feel at ease. Super friendly and informative. Tori at the front desk could have been working at a bridal shop she was so nice. I went in and flipped through the artists books and decided on an artist and scheduled an appointment. The next weekend I was in getting the tattoo. Brandon was fantastic. So down to earth. We had great conversation which helped to calm my nerves. He worked quickly and two hours later I walked out with exactly what I wanted and I felt like I was well looked after. Thanks Sacred Hand. Was tattooed here back in July, by Joey Knuckles. I had been thinking about getting my throat tattooed for a for quite some time. Having known about Knuckles for years, he was my first choice, to pull off the piece I was after, knowing his strong lineage in the industry and his extreme respect for the art of tattooing. Went in for my first consultation, where we talked about the piece I wanted and the placement. Joey was very responsive to what I wanted and truly seemed stoked about doing it. Fast forward about a month and I went in for my first session, he just did the outline. My first real impression of Joey was how much he really cared about what he was doing. It took him 2 tries to get the placement of it just right and to both of our liking. The first stencil looked good to me, but after him looking over it, he thought it could be better. So he applied another. Once he got down to business and started tattooing, it seemed like it was over before it even started. I have been tattooed by quite a few artists in the past 20 or so years, and none with the efficiency of Joey. I went back a little over a month later to finish the shading and color. Joey really made sure he was doing the piece how I wanted, taking time to ask about color and taking time to show me the colors and gave me a little input about what he though would be good choices. Once again he was extremely efficient in shading and color. All in all, this was a great experience from start to finish and I have a tattoo built to last a life time. I love Sacred Hand Tattoo Society so much! I've gotten 3 of my tattoos done by Bee, and they're all perfect! Bee is a super wonderful artist! She is efficient with her emails and very organized. Her lines are always crazy clean, and she's just a fun person to be around. The tattoo experience is always a great one with her! Even if you don't know what you want, I'm confident Bee will work with you to help you decide on something you love. Ugh, she's such a beautiful gem. I emailed Joey about getting a small owl tattoo on a Tuesday. He was very responsive and I went in the following Sunday. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the shop super clean. We listened to a Spotify playlist "Songs to Sing in the Shower" and the highlight was watching Joey Knuckles swing around a pole to "Footloose." I mean, the atmosphere in this place was so fun, we were all singing. Troy was the artist who did my tattoo and he was great! His attention to detail is fantastic and I'm very happy with my newest ink addition. I plan on going back to him, to get one of the tats on my back redone with some color. Joey Knuckles knows! I had a tattoo that was done several years ago, that needed some sprucing up, and Joey did an amazing job. He was good about listening to what I wanted, had some good ideas, and the result was a remarkable improvement.I was able to be scheduled for my appointment within a matter of a few days after the consultation, but I would imagine that it won't be long before the wait will end up being much longer.
