I went to Body Stain for the first time today to get my industrial done. I've heard about other places, but my friend Erin has talked about how awesome the staff is there, so I went. The outside of the shop looks like pretty much every other tattoo and piercing shop, but don't let that turn you away. Inside, it's full of artwork, you can see the jewelry they offer, prices for piercings are in a visible location above the counter, and the whole place is clean. And I mean clean. Not at all dingy and disgusting like the tattoo shops you see in the movies or in nondescript areas.Going along with keeping it clean, the staff wears gloves while they're working with you, and they wash their hands before and after. Not only that, they have disposal bins for the needles they use. Definitely a fantastic thing to see.My piercer was Mikey. He's a laid back, friendly guy. We talked about animals, work stuff, and mental health for a bit while he got everything ready, and he let me take my time to relax in between the first and second piercing. I have absolutely no pain tolerance, and he didn't rush me at all. Instead, he told me I was doing great. It made me feel like a champ. That helped me a lot. When we were done, he gave me aftercare instructions and informed me about the average healing time.I will definitely be going back. I have some other piercings in mind and some tattoos, and after this fantastic experience, I'm definitely telling everyone I know to take their business to Body Stain. I could never ask for better.
