I now have three tattoos and of the three experiences I've had getting my tat done here with Ryan was the most enjoyable. I've had problems with tattoo artist not listening before or pushing way harder than is needed to the point of bruising. Ryan got clean lines without killing me in there process. He was also very enthused about making sure I was liking the tattoo from start to finish. This is my first time getting a tattoo with him so with him not knowing my pain tolerance level he would check every so often to make sure I was okay or to see if I needed a break as well. Seriously I didn't realize there was such a thing as a good tattooing experience before this. It went so well that when I left I was trying to think of more tattoos to get with him!

I walked in (with no appointment), Ryan instantly dropped what he was doing and within about 15 minutes had drawn up an exact copy of a tattoo my mother had gotten before she passed away.

I walked in (with no appointment), Ryan instantly dropped what he was doing and within about 15 minutes had drawn up an exact copy of a tattoo my mother had gotten before she passed away.
He even went so far as to save the drawing, giving my sister and father a chance to come in and get the same tattoo.
Made us all feel welcome and gave us a chance to memorialize our family member.
I'll definitely be back and so will my family.

Walking in you are greeted by a very friendly staff, they make you feel very comfortable. Both Ryan and Danny have outstanding portfolios, there styles of tattooing seem to cover all bases. The shop is also very clean. I highly recommend checking out this shop!

I had a great time there. The artists and staff don't treat you, just like you're another customer ( I have had tattoos at 8 different Cleveland area shops, Forrest City is by far the BEST ) the staff there is knowledgeable and in my opinion truly want to give you the best tattoo possible. The artwork speaks for itself. It's by far the most unique and best Tattoo shop around. They have a fan and customer for life.

I've known Ryan many years and was very excited to go to his shop and get some work done. The place is super comfy and inviting plus Ryan's personality can make anyone feel at home even when he's about to put the hurt on. In addition to the exceptional service that's offered they display some neat pieces from local artists. I encourage anyone to stop by and take a look or book an appointment pronto.

Ryan gave me a tattoo today and a WONDERFUL experience!! My tattoo was just a copy of hearts that my children had drawn, special to me but not a big thrill for an artist probably. Ryan was completely gracious though! He also spent time talking to my 14 year old son who thinks he may want to be a tattoo artist one day. The shop is clean & Ryan was great. A Total Pleasure!

He's gentle with the needle and knows exactly where to lay the ink leaving no bleeding (ink) lines or bruising, making for a virtually painless experience. Professional and clean! I'll start off by saying this place is the absolute best! It's been over 20 years since my last tattoo and I had done a lot of looking around the area and reading reviews. I also did some research on what I wanted to express in my tattoo. I walked into Forest City with an idea. Ryan was very interested and understood what I wanted to express. He immediately sat down and started sketching (which impressed me). I made a few adjustments and he had me in the chair. The whole experience was top notch. These guys make you feel at home and relaxed. Conversation just flowed during the process. I can't say enough about how pleased I am. I will definitely be back soon with another idea and let Ryan's mind create some new and original art. Thanks you guys!

I now have three tattoos and of the three experiences I've had getting my tat done here with Ryan was the most enjoyable. I've had problems with tattoo artist not listening before or pushing way harder than is needed to the point of bruising. Ryan got clean lines without killing me in there process. He was also very enthused about making sure I was liking the tattoo from start to finish. This is my first time getting a tattoo with him so with him not knowing my pain tolerance level he would check every so often to make sure I was okay or to see if I needed a break as well. Seriously I didn't realize there was such a thing as a good tattooing experience before this. It went so well that when I left I was trying to think of more tattoos to get with him!

I walked in (with no appointment), Ryan instantly dropped what he was doing and within about 15 minutes had drawn up an exact copy of a tattoo my mother had gotten before she passed away.
He even went so far as to save the drawing, giving my sister and father a chance to come in and get the same tattoo.
Made us all feel welcome and gave us a chance to memorialize our family member.

I also did some research on what I wanted to express in my tattoo. I walked into Forest City with an idea. Ryan was very interested and understood what I wanted to express. He immediately sat down and started sketching (which impressed me). I made a few adjustments and he had me in the chair. The whole experience was top notch.
