The owner, Chris Sanders, has done two large tattoos for me. They're beautiful and he's quick (which is nice when you're getting your ribs done). I'm getting ready to get the rest of my back done shortly as well. The one thing I love about Nightshade is that I always feel comfortable in the shop. There's no judgement, like I've felt at other tattoo shops--where they make you feel like you aren't "cool" enough to be there, or they sneer down their noses at your choices. Took a trip from Columbus to Cinci and made a decision on the whim to get a small tattoo with my fiance. It was early in the afternoon, they accepted our walk in, and took us right back. Jake did an awesome job, was extremely meticulous, extremely clean, and super personable. It was an awesome time and I really enjoyed it. I am super appreciative of their professionalism and service! I have a half sleeve inked by Chris Sanders on my right arm. I walked into the shop after hearing good things, I gave him an idea, and a few days later he had it sketched up on a piece of paper. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I made the mistake of going in here and getting a tattoo a few months ago. I walked in and talked to Chris (Im pretty sure he was high). After the drawing I sat down and noticed how bad he smelled. (I should have left then) but I didn't and I got tattooed... Well after a few days my tattoo became very infected, pussing and oozing. I followed the aftercare to a T. I didn't even leave my house so I know nothing else caused it. After going to a few other tattoo shops to ask what was going on and what to do they all said the same thing. Dirty needles. After all that the healing and infection finally went away a few weeks later and I was left with a horrible disfigured tattoo that now I have to find somewhere else to fix. This studio is awesome. Chris is a fantastic artist and a really considerate tatooer. The prices are very reasonable and you will be quite satisfied with your piece. I went in with a concept and he free handed it with a marker perfectly.  It was a cover up and he did such a great job masking and working it in that you can't tell at all. He has a great eye and the execution is fantastic. He is very efficient too. It was over much sooner than expected. Read Less
