The vibe of this shop is great, everyone is super sweet and fun to talk to. I think if you went in to see anyone they would do a fantastic job. They love what they do and genuinely care about the art they're putting on your body. With that being said... Leah is amazing! I got my very first tattoo from her, and it was a big thigh piece. I honestly did not know what to expect, and she was incredibly accommodating and made it as comfortable as she could. I met Leah at the tattoo convention in Louisville. She was very nice but the work she did on me was not good at all. She did a rose and 2 of the leaves are not drawn well and s he went too deep on several lines. It was a waste of $140.00. When it heals all the way, I have to pay someone else to fix it. Hiren has been my artist for 3 or 4 years now and I went to see him at GUTS for the first time yesterday. Found this studio (artist:  Josh Griswald) through a friend who originally found him through Instagram. Went in for a consultation after exchanging a few emails about the piece I wanted. He was very busy that day (about to start working on a guy + had 2 others waiting for consultations), but I stayed to speak with him and I am so happy I did!Fast forward about a month later and I go in for my actual appointment. Very professional, very easy to see that the shop was clean. Josh had my piece drawn up and it looked fabulous. The whole process took about ~4 hours from start to finish (problems with the stencil maker, clean time, etc.), but it was well worth it. So happy!
