Cody was AMAZING! My cousin, sister and I all went in for matching tattoos and had a vision in mind but couldn't describe it. He drew the most amazing tattoo that was EXACTLY what we all wanted! Words can't describe how happy we all were! And he's a saint for dealing with the crazy of all three girls combined! He then took the time and tattooed a snowflake for my daughter. It HAD to be perfect because of who it was for, he nailed it yet again. It's perfect absolutely perfect ...and more then I could have imagined. I was apprehensive because of past experience at a different shop but my fears are gone and I won't be going to anyone but him for any future tattoos (sorry buddy you're stuck!) I can't rave enough! I went to Trivium for the first time last night for my 2nd tattoo in 6 years. I was super nervous. Justin and Willy were great at putting me at ease and making sure that I was comfortable. They both educated me about finger tattoos fading instead of just wanting to take my money. They wanted to make sure that I would be happy for a long time with whatever I got. I opted for my wrist and Willy did my tattoo. His set up was very sanitary and sterile and he talked me through the whole process. He's very good at what he does and not heavy handed at all. The folks down at Trivium tattoo really believe in challenging the status quo, and have a top-notch facility. I came to Trivium because I was once in a band with with one of the artists in my early 20s and he had invited me to see where he worked while he had some downtime. Getting a tattoo was not something that I had even been considering, however, I left Trivium inspired to have an old tattoo, touched-up and re-imagined. I am a happily married father of 3, so needless to ...say, a professional, clean environment is important to me. Most of the parlors that I have seen, look like old converted store fronts that could almost double as an adult bookstore. Trivium did not come off like that at all. It is located on W Franklin St, in downtown Centerville, just a stones throw away from Citi Barbecue. The front of the building reminded me of a small dentist or doctor's office. The inside was impressive to say the least. The initial walk-in area was inviting. I was mostly impressed with the lobby/waiting area which felt like sitting in my own living room, complete with modern style furniture and a relaxing fireplace feature. So comfortable and professional was the environment, on one visit, I brought my 8 year old twins inside to see where daddy was getting his tattoo from. My artist, Justin Pitstick, was amazing. The fix-up turned out better than I could have imagined. The line work, shading, and color turned out exactly like what we had talked about in our initial conversations about re-doing the tattoo. I highly recommend his work. His portrait tattoos are uncanny and remind me of canvas oil paintings. I also met the couple wh own the shop. They were real nice as well as even offered to order Chpotle for me, as they were ordering out for the empoyees. Overall, this is a great place with great people.
