Well I had my first tattoo here when I was 18 & have had 5 after that here with no problems, but when I took my Fiancé there to get a tattoo there were may problems!! First I will start with my fiancé is African American and Hispanic & this was his first tattoo so he was super excited I told him let's go to Skin Flix Tattooz I've gone there so many times just haven't been there in a few years, so we go there & few years ago I had the owners daughter Morgan do a piece on me when I had my miscarriages before & she said she could do his for him so we waited as she drew up what he wanted & I know it takes time & you want it to look good it's there for life! But we were there way too long! She told him she was ready for him when she was talking she could barely keep her eyes open! She kept repeating herself and kept going over the same lines on his arm, he wanted a skull hand holding a heart which really wasn't detailed at all, it took here 8 or 9 hours to do half of the outlines that she kept going over the same lines, her Dad (the owner) was being so unprofessional yelling and all kinds of stuff! we paid $175 and she said let that heal and we will finish the rest, well it looked so bad! We went to other shops 3 to be exact! just to see what they thought of the work and everyone we talked to were in shock at how bad it was, they said this isn't the first time they have had ppl come in and say stuff about the shop or that tattoo artist, (Morgan) or her father (the owner) we were told her father is known for his temper and being racist! he went back and said he thought the work was bad and that he wanted his money back, she said well we can fix it here he said no but they wouldn't give our money back, we looked around for a shop that could fix what she messed up and we found one thank god, it's July she did the outline in April and those lines that she kept going over are still healing, I will never step foot in this place again nor will I refer anyone here!!!

This is a great place to get a tattoo. My daughter got her Tigger tattoo that ment the world to her since she lost her cat this year and she got the cat on her birthday and the tattoo on her birthday. Mike to great care of her knowing what this ment to her. I noticed that all the artist and owner where amazingly nice and friendly. I will be recomending them to everyone i know and more.

Between my son and myself, we've had a dozen pieces done at Skin Flix by multiple artists over a period of about 10 years. None of them have been less than flawless!!! The guys are all amazing (not saying the girls there aren't, I've just never had work done by any female there) and they treat you great! They take their time to talk to you, design exactly what you want, and make it PERFECT on paper before it ever touches your skin. The pricing is beyond fair, especailly for the collective talent and experience they have!! I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

I was looking to get my first tattoo. I checked out the artist's portfolios at ALL the local shops and found a guy I liked at Skin Flix. I tried to set up an appointment since this was my first tattoo and I was taking my time to do everything right. He assured me it's ok to just walk in when I'm ready and we'll do it. So when I came back in he was busy and brushed me off on to what turned out to be the new guy. Definitely my fault for not walking out but it took a long time for me to get my nerve up to get my first tattoo so I trusted his advice. The guy had to stop and answer phones and greet people who walked in. That made my ankle tattoo turn in to a 4 hour job and anyone who has had work done know how sensitive the skin gets after it has been worked on, left alone for 5-10 mins and then gotten more work done right back on it. Main point, the tattoo looks completely amateurish and I had him stop and not complete the rest. I went back in a couple months later to ask them to try to fix it up. The guy who did it no longer worked there and the owner and a couple other guys just laughed at me and said "No way. We don't touch other people's work." The tattoo was done at his shop! What a bunch of unprofessional, irresponsible *%#%! I am so unhappy with the whole experience. I did find someone eventually at another shop to at least clean up the lines and add more color as can be seen in the pic. I would never return to a business who laughs mockingly at a customer and refuses any sort of help or advice. Wish I could give 0 stars. To be fair, I must admit this occurred some years back but I know the same owner is still operating it. Much better choices out there!

I love this place! Gary has been doing a large piece requiring multiple visits. I love the work Gary is doing! I have had a chance to see the other artists work first hand as well and they do awesome work as well. The artists are also very personable and friendly, my wife came up a few times and they made her feel welcome. They are also very friendly with each other, which is another dynamic I like. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for some ink!

Walking in the shop and making an appointment was great, the staff was friendly and worked pleasantly with my schedule. When I went in to get my tattoo done, the artist seemed very uneasy about what he was going to do as well as the placement of the tattoo. I allowed him to continue, at first I just thought maybe he wanted to make sure it was perfect and there were a couple different ways to go about it.
When I looked at the finished product, I wanted to throw up I was so upset. It looked like something a 4 year old could have drawn, literally. I can not believe that the piece of "art" I had done there actually came from a shop nor can anyone else. I should have posted it to social media for all to see. I have never been so upset walking out of a shop.
I did make it apparent to him that I wasn't happy without being rude, and he told me to come back after it heals and he would fix it for free. he knew it was a bad tattoo and I believe he charged the bare minimum because he actually felt bad. No way in hell would I go back and let him stick me with another needle, I would much rather pay someone else hundreds to fix it.
I thought about going in and speaking with the owner, possibly letting HIM correct it, but decided against it. if he hired an artist that puts out this type of work, I don't want him touching me with a needle either. I just will never go back to this shop or recommend it to anyone. In fact, since I have so many tattoos people ask me all the time where I go, and I don't mind sharing that information, but I've also been telling them where NOT to go that's for sure!

i will never go here again!! after i got my first tat i wasnt happy because the shading was poorly done, so i went back for my free touch up and wanted to get another--just the outline of something my 8 year old cousin drew for me. and they said no. It wasnt good enough of a drawing for them to do! this is bull. it means something to me and im a paying customer. the workers are rude and dont care if they insult you. while i was getting my first one done my tattoo ""artist"" stopped to go have a cigarette!! this place is low. if you want a real tat done right go to art in motion in medina.

First, the work that these guys do is great. I've gotten 2 tattoos from them, and love them both. The latest tattoo was a small (2 inches long, 1/2 inch wide), 9 letter word that myself and 5 members of my family got on different places. Each tattoo took no more than 10 minutes to do, yet we were at skin flix for 3 and a half hours. They have a sign that says ""this is not a drivethru"" which I understand, but I think its extremely unprofessional and rude when we're all sitting around waiting for the last couple people to get tattooed and the artists are walking around the store fixing displays, talking to other customers and friends for extended periods of time, making phone calls, taking 10 minute smoke breaks, and basically ignoring us like we weren't even there. I will probably take my business elsewhere next time.

This is the only place i go to get my tattoos, the guys are always extremely friendly, their equipment is always clean, and they get the job done perfectly, i highly reccomend them! especially kenny!

Skin Flix Tattoo is the only place I get my tattoo's done. The place is always clean & always uses new needles. Also some of the best tattoo artists are there. Especially CJ & Jeff. They are the best!

i will never go here again!! after i got my first tat i wasnt happy because the shading was poorly done, so i went back for my free touch up and wanted to get another--just the outline of something my 8 year old cousin drew for me. and they said no. It wasnt good enough of a drawing for them to do! this is bull. it means something to me and im a paying customer. the workers are rude and dont care if they insult you. while i was getting my first one done my tattoo ""artist"" stopped to go have a cigarette!! this place is low. if you want a real tat done right go to art in motion in medina.

I got a tat done here by cyrus or how ever he spells his name and it sucked!!!no joke the lines are wavy and color is poorly done and IT HURT LIKE HELL i have tats done before and it never hurt so ba...

can be a little slow sometimes, but you gotta expect it as busy as they get. im heading there saturday to get more, and luckily im someone they know so i wont be ignored,,,lol

they are unprofessional and over priced. they are not even good at tattooing. my tat cost $80 but it should have cost 35-40 at most. they will rip yoou off. dont go there, im helping you out

First, the work that these guys do is great. I've gotten 2 tattoos from them, and love them both. The latest tattoo was a small (2 inches long, 1/2 inch wide), 9 letter word that myself and 5 members of my family got on different places. Each tattoo took no more than 10 minutes to do, yet we were at skin flix for 3 and a half hours. They have a sign that says ""this is not a drivethru"" which I understand, but I think its extremely unprofessional and rude when we're all sitting around waiting for the last couple people to get tattooed and the artists are walking around the store fixing displays, talking to other customers and friends for extended periods of time, making phone calls, taking 10 minute smoke breaks, and basically ignoring us like we weren't even there. I will probably take my business elsewhere next time.

This is the only place i go to get my tattoos, the guys are always extremely friendly, their equipment is always clean, and they get the job done perfectly, i highly reccomend them! especially kenny!

Skin Flix Tattoo is the only place I get my tattoo's done. The place is always clean & always uses new needles. Also some of the best tattoo artists are there. Especially CJ & Jeff. They are the best!
