I got a tattoo done at this shop more than a year ago and I have been timid about posting an accurate and honest review because the owner cannot handle constructive criticism. So, I had to go twice; once to get my tattoo done, and once again to have it fixed because I had a botched tattoo. I was getting work done by an apprentice, to my knowledge no longer worked at the shop when I went back. I was never alerted that the person doing my tattoo was learning. The receptionist/piercer who worked here at the time audibly gasped when I rolled up my sleeve when I returned to have the botched work fixed. As an artist myself (not a tattoo artist, but a painter) I was very upset by the botched first tattoo. This was also my first tattoo, and to have people talking about how poorly done my first tattoo looked upset me greatly. Corey redid my tattoo, and I would get more work by him if he worked at another shop. I'm thankful for the standard Corey holds himself to, and for fixing the tattoo with no charge. The owner was not present when I returned to have the tattoo fixed. The lack of professionalism the owner holds himself to is what has driven me away from getting more work done at this shop. If you don't believe me, read his responses to negative reviews (this is also why I have hesitated to post a review). I would rather him tell me something nasty via the internet than to have others deal with the shame of having a botched tattoo. The artists that work here are wonderful and talented, and deserve a higher level of professionalism from their shop's owner. And, just for the owner's awareness, I don't plan on coming back, ever. Update: I have met the owner, he was present when I got the inital tattoo done. To quote, "That's a bad ass tattoo. A good first tattoo." The process of my thigh tattoo was started last Saturday by Tattoo. I must say I’ve never walked into a tattoo shop and felt so comfortable and accepted as I did here at breaking skin. Dennis took my idea and ran with it, creating a piece that I’m obsessed with and love. The shop is clean & very well taken care of. Dennis showed me everything he was using for my tattoo and made sure I understood what was happening. I’ve never had a tattoo artist do that. I just can’t get over the great service I’ve experienced here. Looking forward to my next few sessions and will definitely be back in the future for more work. Once a tattoo artist gains your trust & makes you happy with their talent, loyalty is remained. I will never go to another shop. Very unprofessional! The staff, especially the apprentice, are very rude and very lazy. They seem to value sitting around and doing nothing more than they value their customers. I got a piercing there, and it hasn't been healing well at all. I have had 17 piercings and have never had a problem with any of them before this one. I have not gotten a tattoo here, and judging from their Instagram posts, I wouldn't want any of their artwork on me anyways. The shop itself is too small for comfort. If you want any sort of privacy at all, this is not the place for you. Although it's cheap and convenient, it's not worth it to go here. You'd be better off spending the money and making an appointment at a professional and reputable shop, like Hot Rod or Greg's. Read Less

So I'm rolling through Wheeling for a few days and decided to get some ear piercings for my birthday. After reaching out to a few other shops I decided on this place. Quoted pricing was consistent with what I got charged. The receptionist was nice and very helpful when I asked questions about jewelry options. This place is really great. Awesome customer service and so professional. Great selection of jewelry and I got H2Ocean on my way out to guarantee speedy healing. Pro tip: they only accept cash! My daughter and myself went in to have mother/daughter tattoos done. It was her first and my third. Corey did a really good job. We found a few differences in them but we still love them. People there are really friendly not stuck up like other tattoo shops I have been too. They treat everyone the same from people who have a lot of tattoos to those who are new or just a few. Very clean and organized. Both my mom and my tattoo turned out great!!it was my mom's 1st tattoo and my second tattoo, I knew what I wanted but couldn't find a picture that properly showed it, wingman drew up what I explained to my best ability and it was on point! Absolutely the best place in the valley for piercings and tattoos. Addy is the best, most professional, gentle piercer around. She did my son's tongue piercing weeks ago. We were just back in last night for my son's snake bites, my lip and both daiths and then added my daughter's navel piercing. She did all of the piercings one right after the other. She Never tried to hurry us out and never complained a bit. She was very thorough with the procedure, cleaned after each pierci...ng and all new, sterilized equipment for each piercing. None of our piercings are causing any discomfort whatsoever. It's like we don't have any piercings at all. I had a tongue piercing done elsewhere several years ago and it was so painful for weeks after. This is a very clean, down to earth shop.
