By far the best place that I have had tattoo work done. The staff is welcoming, the shop is clean, and I could tell from the conversations which we had that they all have a passion for what they do. To the people complaining about not receiving anything or getting a tattoo, shame on you. This event was done on their day off and the artists worked over 12 hours. They were cheerful through the whole thing and great sports to the people outside always talking and communicating with what was going on inside. I got in line at 8:30am and yes I stood in the rain and storms. The whole idea of this event was so they could donate all the funds received to the animals. If you real...ly want a tattoo they had I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving you one. The artist all worked hard and the shop with donations supplied us food. They all worked hard, but for it being a small tattoo it took all but 5minutes. The main reason it took so long was the cleaning and sterilizing. If they do this event again I'd advise getting there extremely early. Even me arriving at 8:30 I waited 6.5 hours. I don't know if people cut, but if they did then that's on their conscious. My kids and I arrived around 8:15 and got in line. As the time passed, the line got huge. The rain was horrible (Skin Tight cannot control that). This was the first year they have done an event like this on such a huge scale. This was based on what my artist said. These people worked as hard and fast as they could. Anyone that does an event like this learns alot from the first one. I hope they do this yearly and I am sure will handle things better. I was one of the crazy people standing in the rain for the benefit yesterday. My sister and I arrived at 0845 and finished up about 2000, spending over 11 hours there. We were wet, sometimes cold, and pretty darn tired by time we made it but we had a blast. We met some great people in line (Christina and Brittany) and were treated well by all of the Skin Tight Tattoo staff. You would have never guessed that they had been tattooing people for 10 hours by time we got to them. Yes the line was long, especially when one person was "holding" the place of 5 who would magically arrive when they made it to the door, but it was worth it to be able to support a great cause and get our first tattoo. I attended the LFAW fundraiser today! I arrived at 9a with a few other ladies. We did not receive our tattoos after waiting for 12 hours. HOWEVER! This staff was amazing in every way possible! They started tattooing an hour earlier than planned due to the amount of people at the doors so early!!! They had bagels for everyone to eat! One young lady, I believe someone called her Jeri?, was put constantly asking people if there was anything they needed or just simply getting eve...ryone hyped up for such a great cause!!!!! These men and women tattooed well over 150 people today and handled the negative people with such grace!!!!!! I'm definitely bummed I didn't get there earlier than 9a so I could've gotten mine, but I didn't and it's not the staffs fault! I know that people will try to bring their reviews down because of this fundraiser because they didn't get a tattoo or a shirt, but that's not what today was about. Today was about the animals! The rescues! Saving lives of those that have been beaten, abandoned, or thrown to the side because no one cared. Today was such a success for the League!!!! Excellent fundraiser put on by Skin Tight Tattoos today. They donated their day off and all proceeds to The League of Animal Welfare. Unfortunately, I was one of the people who waited 12 hours and didn't get one, but that's not what it was about today, it was about raising money for an awesome organization. I love Skin Tight Tattoos. A few years ago I went to STT to get my sons feet print tattooed on me. Allen did an exceptional job, and I have always wanted to come back for another. Today I attended the event for LFAW. I waited in line a long time, got there at 8:45 am and left at 8:30 pm. Yes it was long and rainy, everyone including customers and workers we exhausted, but the employees there were nothing but nice to me. I love SkinTight Tattoos, I have gotten all of my tattoos done there and a couple piercings. Although this event was for a great cause, I cannot say that I am happy about tonight's events. I arrived to the shop and got in line at 1pm and did not reach the front of the store at all I ended up on the side of the building within the 8 hrs that I waited there. I waited through the cold, pouring rain along with many other excited individuals while others cut in line. We were infor...med that we wouldn't get in around 8:30 pm but choose to wait it out anyway, staying hopeful. Some staff came through and said they would give out tshirts to those who had waited in line patiently but started at the back and then when they got to us, we got nothing. The people in the back who had waited 2 hrs max got compensation and people who had waited 8+ did not. I am overall unsatisfied, and disappointed with how the event was handled. Although a this was a wonderful fundraiser (which I did donate to) that had friendly staff I do not think I will attend another fundraiser at this shop. I would recommend a better mode of organization such as a number ticket to ensure that the people who wait patiently are seen. See More Read Less

"I waited 12 hours in the rain with no umbrella for a tattoo and all I got was a t-shirt!!" Ha! Note whereas I'm sad, this is not a complaint. The artists and employees are human. They were doing continuous tattoos for 12 hours... That has to be exhausting. I was super-duper close to the front when we were told that was it for the night but meh. The shop said from the beginning that it was first come first serve and they were cutting it off at 9pm. Suggestions for the shop fo...r next time: Cappell's sells those paper sticker bracelets. Buy a bunch and number them. Now that you've figured out about how many you can do per hour and the capacity for such an event. Pass them out as people arrive and thus no one can "cut" and you can start turning people away once at capacity. You could have some of a different color above expected capacity as "we cant guarantee you but you're welcome to hang out in case we go faster than expected. For years I've only gone to Zara for my piercings. She does an excellent job, is very quick, and causes as little pain as she can. She moved to tattooing, however yesterday her apprentice pierced my tragus and rook and did an amazing job. She was as gentle and quick as Zara and made the experience a fun one. Over all, this place is great. Can't wait to get some tattoo work done here at some point in the future! Read Less

I had my Tragus pierced by Zara and she did a good job, very thorough going through the whole process from opening the supplies all the way to the after care. They do a complimentary jewelry change after 3 months and said to come back or call if I have any questions after. The place was clean and not too pricey. My piercing is so far so good! Read Less
