When it comes to piercing, Mikey is beyond incredible and my go-to. Never did I ever think I could be comfortable with anyone jeweling my mothers "down under" and be in the room during, at that. He did my set of micro dermal's in between my hips and 5 years later they're still here! Super quick and painless too. He also did my brothers nipples and best friends smiley. He's honestly the only person I recommend to friends and family when they're looking for a new modification. I showed up at this place with three family members. All four of us planned on getting tattoos. We pull up to the building about 20 minutes after the shops advertised opening time and noticed several people waiting outside smoking and talking. The building did not appear to have any lights on and so we immediately went back online to check that we had the hours right, yep they were right. Finally after sitting in the parking lot for about 5 minutes observing, we ask one of the people waiting outside if everything is okay. He informs us he is an employee and that everyone is waiting outside for the manager to let them in and no one can get ahold of them...he also shrugs and basically says things like this happen all the time. Needless to say we quickly took our business elsewhere. Very unprofessional and off putting to leave your employees and potential clients waiting around to be let I'm far after opening time and although we are all human and things do happen which is perfectly understandable, making a habit of behaviors like that was a big red flag for us. Over 12 years I've went to La'rox for piercings and tattoos for myself and my son's and we have all been satisfied every time. I've gotten artwork done from La'rox about 15 years ago. The good thing is they still have honest and talented artists. The waiting area is in desperate need of a makeover. The art posters to peruse while waiting for your turn in line or while waiting for your appointment is very outdated and really not relevant, unless you are interested in a three stooges tattoo. I went in on a Thursday (as a walk-in). The woman that waited on me was very friendly and had me talk with Kevin, an artist. I showed him my design and he said he could do it but he thought another artist had a stronger script background than he does- and he would recommend me scheduling time with him (absolutely appreciate his transparency).I set an appointment with Santos who was very nice, patient, and extremely professional. I took my earbuds to listen to music but never utilized them- Santos and I had great conversation and made the time fly by. I will absolutely be a repeat customer of Santos, and will recommend him to all my friends, family, or others looking for their next incredible tattoo.Overall, my experience was great with the artists and employees that I came in contact with both days. I would recommend La'rox to anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing. On a side note the piercer was incredibly busy the entire time I was in the building on both days. Read Less

But what I will say is the staff and the service here is phenomenal as I have worked in 5 tattoo studios. Got my bellybutton done back in november by Terry. The staff was helpful in explaining healing/maintenance (it was my first body piercing besides ears) and they were super nice. I have a nickel allergy and they helped me pick out nickel-free jewelry to pierce it with. I had to wait a little while but Terry was very nice and did a great job! Okay so I've gotten a tattoo here before and the first one looks really good and I just got my third tattoo from here a day ago and it's just a simple lotus flower without shading or anything and the linework looks freaking terrible. As soon as you walk in, they greet you and ask what you're looking to get, I've been there 4 times and every experience has gone really well, Craig is an amazing piercer, he has done my septum, my right nostril and most recently my tongue. I just got my first tattoo on June 25, 2017 and John did an awesome job, I couldn't asked for any better than him. Went yesterday to get pierced by Craig. Also had to get some new jewelery for one of my piercings. Decided to get my "snuglex" pierced which was invented by the artist. Very impressive to say the least. The entire process was amazing. Walked out with a beautiful unique piercing and couldn't be happier. I had my cartilage pierced in August 2013. Almost 9 months later it is still very sore, infected...etc. In the past couple months I asked two different piercing/tattoo guys about what to do. One told me to take it out, that if I was having problems now that I'll always have issues with it. The other told me it could take up to a year to heal and try sea salt/water. I did the sea salt/water for a couple months with no luck. I went into a different place yesterday cause I pretty much gave up on the damn thing. Once the guy saw what type of earring they pierced it with, he knew what the problem was. The earring they used had that metal paint on it to make the ring colored and I guess that is a big no no to use those on a fresh piercing. He said any professional piercer should have known that. So, thanks La'Rox on making me waste $50+ on your mistake and for the past 9 months of tons of fun. I had heard not to go there for tattoos, but I was in the area and it was a spontaneous decision to get my ear pierced. I didn't think they could mess up a simple ear piercing, but I guess I was wrong :/Also, I've had my ear pierced many times and whoever did this simple cartilage piercing really hurt me and made me bleed A LOT. I had an industrial piercing done so I'm not a wimp and it didn't hurt half has bad as the regular cartilage piercing did. I didn't even bleed for the industrial one. Read Less

Went here to get my belly button re-pierced. Yeah it hurt like fuck because it was going through scar tissue but anyways! The place is fuckin huge! Lol. I love all their designs and art book around. Gave me some good ideas for my future tats. The guy who did my piercing was nice. It was quick and easy. The girl at the counter was super nice and explained everything to me.
