The whole experience--beginning, middle and end--was superb. From making me feel comfortable in the shop the day I dropped off my deposit to the finishing strokes on my skillfully done tattoo, I never once felt like I was in poor hands. Fargo has the privilege of being home to Athena and her art. I had a small, dark, blown out, and poorly done tattoo I had gotten in my younger, wilder days. I now have a gorgeous and clean cover up I am proud to display. Be wise and learn from other people's youthful indiscretions; just go straight to Athena from the start. You will be very glad you did. I certainly am!

Athena is beyond talented! She is so skilled and precise with her work. I had gotten a couple small tattoos from her years ago and was very happy with them. Flash forward a few years and I am ready to get some more tattoos. There was an apprentice who seemed to be doing decent so I tried him out and ended up disappointed. Turns out he was not honest about his experience and the reason for his photos of tattoos was due to guidance and teaching that he felt he no longer needed but the end result of my tattoo showed he was not ready to be on his own. I reached out to Athena and she happily agreed to fix it. I was just hoping for a touch up, but she reworked the entire thing and it is now beautiful. I also had another tattoo done by Athena and it is perfect. I will be trusting her with all future work and recommend her to anyone!

Professional all the way. The crew at Amarok is fun and easy to work with and the art is top notch. Athena did a great job on my new ink and even fixed the garbage I got from another studio.

I had a great experience with Athena at Amarok Tattoo Studio, she is not only exceptionally talented, but is always willing to offer her expertise on design and placement to make each piece unique and special. The shop itself is clean and beautiful. I will not go anywhere else to have work done. Athena is the best.

I've had work done by Athena when she was at her previous studio and when I heard she opened a new place, I didn't hesitate to book a tattoo. My husband and I went in for back to back sessions with Holly and wonderful doesn't even begin to describe the experience. She asked us what kind of music we wanted to listen to, she was funny and quick witted and most importantly, incredibly talented. I recently came across a Facebook post stating an apprentice artist, Jeremy, was doing lettering tattoos at a discounted rate to build up his skills. My husband and I went back in last night and got a couple of great tattoos by Jeremy, who was equally as professional and personable as Athena and Holly. This is a wonderful studio, clean, bright, colorful atmosphere and we will most certainly be back for more ink!!

I now have a gorgeous and clean cover up I am proud to display. Be wise and learn from other people's youthful indiscretions; just go straight to Athena from the start. You will be very glad you did. Athena is beyond talented! She is so skilled and precise with her work. I had gotten a couple small tattoos from her years ago and was very happy with them. Flash forward a few years and I am ready to get some more tattoos. There was an apprentice who seemed to be doing decent so I tried him out and ended up disappointed. Turns out he was not honest about his experience and the reason for his photos of tattoos was due to guidance and teaching that he felt he no longer needed but the end result of my tattoo showed he was not ready to be on his own. I had a great experience with Athena at Amarok Tattoo Studio, she is not only exceptionally talented, but is always willing to offer her expertise on design and placement to make each piece unique and special.
