Staff was so friendly and helpful when finalizing what I wanted for my tattoo. I had Stephanie and she was incredibly thorough. She talked me through everything (even though I had gotten tattoos before) and just made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. Her tattooing skills were UNBELIEVABLE. Precise. My experience at 46and2 tattoo is always great. I have only been there twice but I love going there. The staff are great! I love Stephanie, she did both of my tattoos and they turned out great! I give this place a 1 star.  I scheduled a cover up consultation  because I heard good things about Paul.  I heard he was the guy to meet with.  When meeting him for a consultation on a Friday Night "cover up"  I was told to bring in the tat image I wanted.  Upon doing so I was told they could not do the cover with what I wanted. At this point a person asks why. I was sent away with quote "Come back with 15 examples of what you want" .  I ask myself who has 15 immediate examples of tattoos they want forever.  It took me years to decide on the cover up.  This was a very ridicules request.  From my point of view the artist did not want to work that night.  Also upon asking questions about what the next tattoo should be like I was told .. I cant help you have to decide????. Not satisfied, I asked further... tell me about color or contrast so that when I look for my next 15 examples I know what will work over my current tats.  Again I was told they could not help.  I dont know about you but when I schedule a consultation with someone who is supposed to be good I expect expert advice and strait answers.  I wasted my time with these people.  Maybe I caught them on a bad night but for my first visit to 46 I was disappointed. Libby is an amazing artist! She's so easy to talk to, and makes the experience so relaxing. She drew up the most amazing owl for me and has been so patient over my time with her to complete this beautiful, detailed, and colorful piece. Besides her talented artistc skills her gun is one of my favorites that I have ever had used on me. The owner of the shop is kind and hilarious, he loves to pop his head in. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Mikey did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for more! Everyone was very nice and everything was overly clean and sterilized (which was very satisfying), and it wasn't sketchy in any way (a lot of places are). Just had two tattoos completed by Stephanie and am going back to get more done. The service is fantastic and phone calls are returned very quickly. The quality of work by all the artists is amazing and working with Stephanie is a pleasure. She goes out of her way to make you feel at ease and made me feel very confident (later proved correct) in her abilities. Well I haven't gotten tattooed by Paul in about 5 years, but I decided to come here and write a review anyway. I came about his shop by chance when I lived nearby and proceeded to get 4 tattoos by him.  He was so genuine and caring and a great artist!! I wished I still lived in Fargo so he could finish the backpiece he started, but if I'm ever in the area, I'm definitly going back! I hope the business is still as great as I remember it! Read Less
