The tattoo artist was amazing. The quote I received was pretty reasonable. I'm visiting from Korea, and my hometown is D.C., so I'm pretty interested in tattoo styles that the world has to offer. This particular time, I wanted two tattoos: one on the back of my thighs and another that reflects my fathers military service and his fight for cancer. He had recently passed away and that's what brought me to North Carolina. Found this place on Yelp and decided to not Β give the negative reviews a second glance, was pretty impressed with the reviews raving about the artist. So, I went, got quoted and came back.I wanted to see if there was time available. I wanted to get one of the tattoos, but I didn't have cash on me. I have a master card from a KOREAN bank, so I have to be careful about how and where I pull money. As you know, I'm not about the problem, always about a solution,The girl at the front seemed cool at first, but when it came to helping me understand why I have to pay partial cash and partial card and/or just being patient and polite enough to help me understand their process, well.. she was rude as hell. I wanted to pay for the whole tattoo on my card so I can save myself some bank fees, but she said that I had to eventually pay cash for the tattoo.. she came up with a solution (which I liked), and I wanted some time to think about it, but the more my friend and I were talking, she kept rudely interjecting to pressure me into doing something I eventually had to do anyway.I need to get to an ATM to pull out $400, and I said to my friend "maybe we can get lucky and find another artist that will take my card in the process" and she rudely yelled back as we were leaving "um, we know most of the artists around here and they all take cash, so you won't find anybody else". Girl, bye. Nobody was talking to you and you can keep that rude ass attitude. I'm getting sick and tired of smaller businesses that do not understand the basic concept of being polite. Am I not allowed to explore other avenues? I felt like the amount of money I was about to spend, my tattoo experience shouldn't begin when the gun hits my skin, but when my ugly butt walks in the door..: like with the receptionist being kind... after all, she represents your brand. But, that's just me. Lol. I don't know how they do it in North Carolina. All I wanted was a couple tattoos.... and use the time to really reflect and think about my dad. It was a tough year for me and tattoos are a great stress reliever. I didn't expect to get more stress from a tattoo spot, first time I ever experienced that, and I have a lot of tattooS. I love the artist and want him to work on me. I wish there was a way I could just pay the dude without the shop ever seeing a dime from me. Read Less
