Mark did an amazing job on my tat. I am giving this 4 stars for that reason. The building itself needs some maintenance and updating but if you are looking for a quality tattoo as a walk in tattoo place, Mark is your guy. He has a dry sense of humor and made me very comfortable. Prices are great!

Got my tattoo touched up for the 2nd time this time was part of an addition to another tattoo (so 3rd time getting this area of my ribs done, since I moved a little the 2nd time around...) touch-up to...
Got my tattoo touched up for the 2nd time this time was part of an addition to another tattoo (so 3rd time getting this area of my ribs done, since I moved a little the 2nd time around...) touch-up took like 20 min which is good and bad. Good cause it was quick and bad cause Jimmy still missed spots on my lines...
The lines do look a hell of a lot better so I'll definitely give him that... but considering how I was a statue this time around and didn't move at all, I really don't get how some lines are thicker and more saturated with color than other spots that he seemed to overlook :/
I understand that you can't tell unless you're a foot away but after the 2nd time of going back over the same area and after paying upwards of $400!! for a MEDIUM sized tattoo, the lines should've been PERFECT this time around no matter how close you look at it.... Little disappointed is all but oh well I guess. Don't really want to go back over the same area for the 4th time haha.

I'd never heard of this place until it popped up on my news feed on facebook. I had been to 6 different tattoo shops and they all said they couldn't do the design I wanted. When I showed it to Jimmy, he said, "I can definitely do that." he explained the process of what we would need to do to get my tattoo exactly how I wanted it because it was such a special piece to me and he did not let me down. It's perfect. He was very patient with me and he was extremely clean. I could not be happier with the result! Thank you Jimmy!

I can't speak to the hair part of this studio but I can tell you that Eddie Oakes, who is one of their tattoo artists is amazing! What he can do with ink and how he can take your ideas, sketch them on...
I can't speak to the hair part of this studio but I can tell you that Eddie Oakes, who is one of their tattoo artists is amazing! What he can do with ink and how he can take your ideas, sketch them on paper and then create a tattoo from them is truly art! I've gotten several tats from Eddie and will not let anyone else ink me again. If you are looking for a tattoo that people will stop and ask you about and compliment you on all the time and one that you really love then go see Eddie at Rockstar Hair and Tattoo, you will not be disappointed!!

Since September, Jimmy has been tattooing me and I have been happy with every piece. He listens to what I want and also provides creativity and is honest with his suggestions. He has given me very fair pricing as well and never tries to rip me off. Very clean work space and relaxed atmosphere without a lot of people or noise. Britt has also done my hair and spent almost 4 hours perfecting a multi-colored ombre that turned out absolutely stunning. I get compliments on my hair every day. She can provide many styles and colors that other salons in town may not offer or have the experience styling. My overall experience here has been great.

Originally I started going to Jimmy at Rockstar Tattoo for new ink... As it turns out, Jimmy is incredibly insightful, a great listener, and extremely fair priced.. As a matter of fact, when life flipped upside down on me, Jimmy turned out to be a better listener, more in tuned, and cheaper (ink included) than my therapist.....
