When into Port City last Saturday for a piercing and the experience was amazing. The shop is very clean and welcoming. The new female piercer Roberta is awesome, sweet and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately I can't leave negative stars. This used to be a great shop. Now it's a pack of vape juice fueled scratchers that can't read or write. Jocko the tatter will splatter your skin with some of the most atrocious garbage you've seen, let alone paid good money for. I can promise you you will need laser treatments followed by coverups and blast overs as well as very expensive Hep C medicine. So you get a 500 dollar tattoo it will really cost you ten times that to fix. Don't do it. Just don't. Oh yeah and beware. Jocko likes to steal other tattooers photos and say he did the tattoo. This place is absolutely terrible. These artists have no talent whatsoever. I don't know where they came from, but it can't be good. I've seen better tattoos come out of prisons. If you're looking to get a tattoo done for the purpose of challenging another artist with covering it up, then this is the place for you. It's as simple as this. You can't even trust their portfolios or photos used on their social media websites. That is the work of past artists that no longer work at that shop. I went to port city a couple weeks ago as a walk in and was thrilled with the experience! I had tried Hardline the night before, and left less than impressed. After researching reviews, I decided to try port city. I had 2 simple pieces I wanted done, and walked in with cell phone pics to show them. Zach took a look at my pics, and quickly set about getting them drawn up. He asked a couple times if they looked the way I wanted them to, and made adjustments as I requested. He even went back and made one smaller after we put on the stencil and I didn't like the size. I also ended up adding a third small design, after he had already drawn up the other 2. He helped me decide on proper placement, and did an awesome job on them. They've healed now, and I love all three! The shop was very clean, and comfortable. The guys greeted me as soon as I walked in, and even joked around with my teen son. My son pulled out his computer to play on while he waited, and they were quick to offer their wifi password, which thrilled him! If I'm ever back in the area, they'll be who I go to! Definitely recommend the shop as a whole! My designs were quite simple, so I'm truly not sure about Zachs artistry outside of the small, clean lines he had to use on them, but I definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back to him for a more complex piece. I got my monroe piercing here and my piercer was super cool and chill, which helped. He took very good care of me when I got a little light headed and the price was over all great. I paid $40 and it was quick and painless. The only problem I had was that I tried to go back and get my shorter bar so it would not stick out of my face any more but they had ran out so I was told to go to Jade Monkey which was across the street and they gave me an entirely wrong size. I had Aaron pierce my cartilage and he did an amazing job. He really cares about the craftsmanship. He had to line up the new piercing with an existing one and got it on the mark, he even joked about getting a ruler out to make it perfect. Everyone was welcoming and fun to talk to! This is the best tattoo shop I've ever been to and between my husband and I we've been to quite a few.  This shop is super clean, even the bathroom was spotless.  The two artists that did our tattoos, both named Bryan, were amazing. Both are incredibly artistic, adding their own special touch to the tattoos.  Being from up north, we found the prices very reasonable.  They were worth every penny! Read Less
