I have my nose and septum pierced and on a whim I decided to get my tragus pierced. Jade Monkey was one of the first places that came up. I arrived and the entire process was done in 20 minutes. Everybody I spoke to was kind and professional. The piercer did it quickly and talked me through everything that was happening. The pricing was also very reasonable. I was told 4 mos ago I would be called about something they were to order for a dermal piercing that I had gotten there and was having problems with. I called several times and stopped in TWICE ( I don't live close) each time they took my information, it is now almost February, it got infected which spread to my shoulder and had to be treated and the piercing had to be removed after much pain. Still No Call. Each time I spoke with them I was very patient, never ill about it. I see all the 5 ratings no reason to dis a customer or is it I'm only one, The only other reason I can come up with ....well I won't even go there. Drs are not cheap even with insurance....... the customer service or lack there of is horrible! I received a call the evening this posted, funny how that worked out. I was told there was a problem with their distributor, this item was ordered >4 mos ago , did this distributor also prevent them from calling me and telling me as much? After knowing the the inconvenience all this caused for me, I could have at least been offered SOMETHING for my trouble ! But then again after the way this was handled, how foolish of me to expect anything. I did get an I'm sorry....but they had already proven that by their actions. Read Less

I've been here on multiple occasions now, the first piercing I ever got from them was my nipples, they were perfect!! Todd was on point with it, and as gentle as someone could be stabbing you. I got my cartilage pierced here, the studio is very clean and Todd was the one who did my piercing. I was nervous about the experience because this was the first piercing aside from my earlobes, and he comforted me and it was over very quickly. Didn't even hurt! I came in about three months ago for a daith piercing to see if it would help with my migraines. I have tried everything else including medication, botox, physical therapy, and acupuncture. Nothing has worked. I figured it couldn't hurt to try the piercing, at least they look good. Todd did an excellent job. It didn't hurt at all. I've been fortunate to have had work done  by several amazing artist and even both the piercers. The tattoos are several years old and are holding up amazingly. The shop is cleaner then most doctors offices I've been to. Big Zach has gentle hands for such a huge guy, but his tattoo work is truly amazing. I gave this place two stars instead on one because I do not know how well their tattoos and piercing actually are. BUT I wanted to give it one star because I was told to come here after finding out the place across the street (Port City Tattoo) had ran out of small monroe bars. The price was only $10 dollars there but after a few days, i realized the piercing was entirely too small. I tried taking it out and it got stuck. eventually the diamond went into the hole in my lip. I went to a local doctors and they helped get it out but I did end up passing out soon after. I do not want to change peoples minds about this place or to diss it but I want to let you know what i just had to go through becuase they gave the wrong size piercing. Nick showed me some other pictures and walked me through his ideas. I decided to go with his ideas. He drew up something and it was perfect. I went in to get three cartilage piercings in my ear.  Everyone in there was super welcoming and professional to my friend and me and the shop was very clean looking. The two people helping with the piercing wore gloves at all times and were very sanitary about their procedures.  This was my first cartilage piercing and I was a bit nervous, but the piercer was gentle it was done very well and it was way less painful than I expected.  I would definitely recommend Jade Monkey to everyone. I had a microdermal piercing that on my chest that was ripped halfway out by my long hair (I got the piercings in Pittsburgh years before). It was later at night when it happend and I was not able to remove the piercing myself. I drove around to multiple tattoo/piercing studios and they either refused to remove the piercing (due to liability) or did not have the equipment to remove the piercing. I was sent to Jade Monkey Studios by Family First Tattoos.... As soon as I walked in they were very welcoming and had the body jewelry out in minutes. I was so thankful for the piercrer! I literally had no idea how I was going to get the body jewelry the rest of the way out. I will be returning to Jade Monkey for any of my piercing needs. Read Less

I had an opportunity to be pierced by Todd last night.  From my first phone call to the studio I was impressed by his professionalism.  He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable about the different types of piercings.  He talked about the pros and cons and asked what my goal for the piercings were.  The studio was very clean and all of his equipment was surgically sealed (even the q-tips!).  He took his time and explained each part of the process.  He was quick but caring and it was less painful than I had expected.  I received 3 piercings and I would recommend Todd to anyone who wants a professional pleasant piercing experience.
