I had absolutely no change in my appearance, after spending $5100 for Coolsculpting. In December 2016, I had my first appointment for treatment. The nurse practitioner took "before" photos of multiple angles, then performed the Coolsculpting therapy on my abdomen in several areas and on my flanks. I returned to Ideal Image for my follow up appointment in April 2017. The nurse practitioner took my "after" photos and noted that there was no change in my appearance. The Ideal Image office scheduled another follow up appointment in June,. Again, the nurse practitioner noted there was no change. She mentioned that the company, Zeltiq, had recently visited Ideal Image and discussed that some people may be "unresponsive" to the treatment. She said that she had never heard that phrase before. She then applied another procedure to my abdomen to determine if I was "unresponsive." I asked her, that if I am unresponsive, does that mean that I could get a refund? She said that she didn't know. I explained that I don't have $5,100 dollars to throw away on something that doesn't work. She said that she understood. Meanwhile, I was scheduled for another follow up the following month, and still there was no improvement in my appearance. The nurse practitioner told me we need to give it time. They scheduled another follow up, but it never happened because they rescheduled three times, each time stating that they are having issues getting a practitioner into the office on the dates of my appointment. When I called the day before my appointment, they didn't even have me on the schedule. I have now filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General. I deserve a full refund. Read Less

Visit on Feb 2nd...was told they were not going to do treatment today due to no response on my ink. They told me they were going to call me and as of today 4/9/18 still no call. Been going through this treatment for 3 years now and the machine is not working. I feel like they got their money and told me it would only be xx amount of treatments and it would be gone....not even close. But they got their money up front. The PA-c is super nice but this machine promises something it can't deliver. I have a scar that they promised would not happen, I asked before I stared this process. I wish I had not gone there an even started this treatment. Funny I read another review saying how they never called her either. Guess they just want us to go away. Do your research! Read Less

I have been MORE than patient with the staff, but at this point I am becoming very frustrated. I initially signed up for 6 "pads" with the cool sculpting. Come the day of my treatment the nurse(not sure if that is the proper term) only recommend I do 4. I took her advise an only followed through with just that, after my follow up visits and seeing NO result. I made contact with the office that I would like for my credit card balance to be adjusted since I will not be using the remaining two due to no results from the 1st go around. I made two phone calls and each time I spoke with someone from the staff (I wish now I would have asked for names) they ASSURED me that they would "Notate my account" and have Amy or someone in finance follow up with me. After not hearing back from anyone on BOTH cases I decided I would wait until my follow up visit for my laser hair removal. I then spoke to someone IN PERSON (again I wish I would have remembered her name) but again she promised me someone would call.....again NO FOLLOW UP. I call another time still being cool, calm and collected and spoke with a rep and they told me that they are writing down a note "as we speak" since Amy was with a client. I am a reasonable person since I as well have a office job and understand things happen and get lost in translation. Finally on 12/19/17 I call yet AGAIN but this time I speak to Amy personally and she states "she never got any of the messages and will be more than happy to help me" I was quite happy since she seemed to be the woman to speak with to have this my resolved. As we are wrapping up the phone call she ENSURES me that she will call me the same day no later than 6pm since she had to "review my charts". Here it is the following day at 4pm and I have YET to hear anything from ANYONE. I am not sure where to go from here but at this point I feel my frustrations are quite valid and I have been more than patient! The staff is exceptional - caring, competent, and customer-focused. The equipment and services are state of the art, and the customer service is state of the heart. Set up a consultation for tattoo removal and when I got there it took a total of 5 seconds for the Dr to look at me, ask my race, and tell me she couldn't work on me because I was black. Let me make it very clear that I am NOT trying to make this a race issue. That's not my point in posting this, however when I was reading through the information about the procedure, type of laser they use, FAQ's etc... not once did they mention that they couldn't work with darker skin tones or certain races or whatever. Over the phone when I was setting the appointment I was asked numerous questions about the tattoo, but once again they never mentioned skin color could be an issue. Filling out the paper work at the office .. again questions about the tattoo, meds I may have been taking .. nothing mentioning skin color. More than anything I'm annoyed that they wasted my time having me drive an hour (there and back) for nothing. They could have just said that before I made an appoinment in the first place. I do however think it's kind of strange that they're the only place I called ( because I made a point of calling several places after the fact) who seem to have an issue working on darker skin. And on top of that I'm mixed and have a pretty light skin tone. Read Less

I'd give zero stars if I could.  Worlds worst service.  I was billed $6000 for a procedure I NEVER received despite cancelling my appointment within on hour of scheduling. I've called 5 times just today and multiple times over the past 2 weeks and keep getting run around and ignored by billing. So my wife is in the back working on tatoo removal.  Yeah they wouldn't let me back there with her so I'm just chilling in the waiting area.  It's really nice out here. I am a guest at Ideal Image for both laser hair removal as well as tattoo removal. I have had a great experience at every appointment for both services. The treatment providers are always extremely professional and do a great job making me as comfortable as possible. I'm getting great results with my tattoo removal and it's nice to know they have the latest and greatest technology there, so I know I'm always in good hands. They were extremely informative and did a great job explaining the process of both tattoo removal and laser hair removal. I have a very busy work schedule and they have really great hours that allow me to get an appointment after work. I go to Ideal Image for under arms and face. I would only recommend using laser if you have such dark hair that you just can't shave enough and it is an area that you can't wax on your own. It worked wonderfully on my under arms. Made hair finer in 3 treatments; and gone in by 6. Facial hair is finer, but persistent peach fuzz. If I could go back in time I would choose to do my legs instead of my face. They are very nice ladies, but handle problems like spoiled snobs. I was accidentally charged for something I did not get and their way of handling the situation was to not answer the phone when I called. When I called the home office to complain they demanded that I pay at least $100 of it even though they had knowledge that I did not get it. I met another customer while I was there who was complaining of pain and they handled her by having her come in when other customers aren't there. They should be better prepared for mistakes. I had Ultherapy at Ideal Image to tighten the skin on my face. I wanted to make an improvement but did not want to have surgery. I had researched Ultherapy and liked the before and after photos I saw and liked that it was non invasive and that I would look natural afterward. My wife had gone to Ideal Image for hair removal so I already knew how professional they were, so I chose to go there for my Ultherapy treatment. I had my treatment done (it only took 1 treatment) and it was a great experience. They made me feel at ease and were very professional, and caring. Im looking forward to seeing my results. My daughter and I both started our laser sessions last year at Ideal Image and we have both been extremely satisfied with the whole experience. They've removed by facial hair and I don't have to spend time every day tweezing anymore! And my daughter hasn't shaved under her arms in months! Before we finally decided to go in for our consultations I wondered if we could afford it, but they gave us a no interest financing option so it wasn't bad at all! I went in for free consultation and I heard on the radio 70% off services. She took my social and opened up a credit card and charged me thousands of dollars for nine treatments of laser hair removal I never even received one treatment. I went in one hour after she pressured me to sign the contract and she still charged me. I had to hire a lawyer and dispute with the finance company. I went to Ideal Image after a couple of my friends went and told me how awesome it was! I used to get painful razor burn and ingrowns from shaving. I tried waxing too and it was just as bad. Now, I am almost finished with my laser treatments at ideal image and I cant remember the last time I shaved. My skin is actually smooth and I can go to the beach without having to think twice. I am so happy with my results and have already recommended ideal image to several people! I also just found out I am moving to Florida and I can easily transfer to one of the locations in florida to finish my treatments. appearantly Ideal Image has like a hundred locations. In order to receive their "discount" you have to sign a 15 page contract and pay in full up front. They attempt to lure you into this contract by offering a lifetime membership after treatment. However, the lifetime membership is a hoax...YOU STILL PAY FOR TREATMENTS. Once you've signed the contract the cancellation fee is very steep. BEWARE, nobody should have to sign a 15 page contract for Laser Hair Removal. Think about it. There are other places in town that use the same lasers, professional staff, less expensive and don't force you into contracts. Read Less
