I love this place. I wasn't 100% happy with my first tattoo artist at another shop and I always drive by Light Side on my way to class so decided to try them for my second tattoo. Right away I was impressed by the friendly staff and great atmosphere. They were able to give me great advice and suggest an artist that would best suit my design. Thomas was able to get me in quickly and listened perfectly to what I wanted. He came up with a design that was better than I imagined. He did an amazing job and was so friendly and fun to hang with. I have been coming to this shop for 5 years now... I drive 5+ hours to get tattooed in this establishment. Super professional dudes that truly know and love what they do. There are very few shops like it around anywhere. Happy with all the work I have had done and customer service is always outstanding. I received two hand sized tattoos here. The pieces came out fine, and the pricing was fair, but I just wasn't feeling the atmosphere -a personal vibe I got. Overall, the artists and other staff were nice and the shop is clean and conveniently located, and it always smelled really good! I've since found a new artist, but have returned to Lightside for a naval ring (done years ago by another place). Not all cups of tea are for everyone, saying that, the atmosphere may be for you, so check 'em out. Read Less
