Absolutely amazing . I have 28 tattoos and the best 1 i have is the 1 he did for me on my forearm. You took your time added so much detail. You are the only person I will allow to tattoo me ever again...

My cousin & I went here to get matching shell tattoos while we were staying at myrtle beach. We drove here from the beach because it was rated better than any of the tattoo shops closer to us. To begin with, we were told it would be maybe 100 dollars, which wasn't bad. The tattoo artist then SLICED OPEN my cousin's leg while shaving it, then proceeded to still tattoo it. He has a giant scar that overshadows the crappy shell. The shell on my ankle looks horrible. Half was done heavy handed and half wasn't, so the lines are 2 different shades and very noticeable. They're also very uneven as if done by a 5 year old. To end our wonderful trip here, we were told it would be 160 for our 2 small tattoos. I immediately knew that was because I had let it slip that we were tourists. I will never be back here & do not recommend to anyone.

You may have to wait as he takes pride in his work, and will take the extra time to produce quality.

We traveled from Holden Beach to this tattoo shop for a FIVE STAR rating. Me and my wife recently got married earlier in the week and wanted wedding band tattoos. Coming from someone that has 2 sleeves felt like the shop looked clean and presentable, but the guy said he didn't do finger tattoos, but with quite the smartass additude. Kinda rubbed us wrong, being we was spending our money on what we wanted and for someone to bash it as if it was a bad idea. The way I look at it all tattoos are bad ideas but it's the memory that is what we was wanting not the tattoo!

I had my first tattoo ever done here at age 41. I went in with an idea in mind, and the tattoo artist, Joe Galvin, greatly enhanced it. I was concerned about hygeine, and Joe patiently explained all about the sterilization techniques used in the shop. He was both professional and humorous, and completed the intricate design in less than 2 hours, including color. I would highly recommend using Joe at Immortal Ink to anyone who wants a gorgeous tattoo!
