Been going to No Regrets since I was 16, so about 10 years now. Went there for my very first piercing, tongue piercing at the time. Have been there several times since & only have experience with their piercing skills but everything always goes very smoothly. Just went there yesterday to get my nose pierced again after I had let it fall out & close up & the owner Tony was helpful at always with giving me helpful tips about the scar tissue, etc. He's always awesome! Plus, they have the best prices around on piercings. Can't beat it. They are also doing renovations right now so super stoked to see how the shop looks afterwards. Think it's gonna be a great change. I have been here twice & I think it's a nice place to go for a little banger. Came in after having had a bad experience at Blue Flame and the employees here were friendly & with a base price of $40 for a simple black ink quarter size tattoo, I was pleased! My two friends and I got the same design, I think it could have been a little tighter, especially in making them look the same but overall had a nice experience. Read Less

I have been to this shop before to have work done that came out really good. I went into the shop last week to get a tattoo for my grand father that doesn't look anything like what I picked. He rushed on it and it looks bad. Looks like my daughter did it. Do not go to his shop he doesn't have love for the Art. Now I have to spend more money on getting it fixed Read Less

Tony has done as expansive amount of highly detailed work on me. fun non-traditional shop and great people... i work tattoo shows and hes as good as any I've ever seen. I see some bad reviews but remember most reviews are simply from unhappy people...sadly people that are happy rarely leave reviews...13 reviews is nothing compared to the thousands of tattoos done there... I love No Regrets. I have gone to this shop for 10 years and Tony has always given me the best tattoos around. I got a huge hand piece about 4 months ago. Still looks as good as the day I got it. Line work is crisp. I really like the comfortable, family feel of this shop. They aren't uptight and love that my same artist has been here for so long. Seems like they have a lot of customer loyalty, but I am always worked in. This is an award winning shop and its obvious why. Clean, friendly and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend. While I enjoyed the shop and the artist, I'm very disappointed in my tattoo. At first the line work looked great but as it healed the lines have faded A LOT,they're uneven, and to top it all of it got infected. I have 33 other tattoos and worked in a tattoo shop in Texas, so I'm very aware of how to clean my ink. I've never had an infection on my tattoos before and it's really painful. I wouldn't have blamed the shop, but I got the tattoo with someone else and their tattoo is also infected. Looking back, there were several signs that I should have seen; the three dogs they let wander the shop, the endless supply of animal skulls and mummified rats, cats and bats, and overall a lot of clutter in the tattoo room itself. I won't be going back, and I wouldn't suggest anyone going either.Read Less

i have quite a few tattoos and can say that No Regrets is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best shop i've ever been to. as soon as you walk in all the nerves you usually have going to get a tattoo or piercing are gone b/c the staff is all really laid back and nice. no one judges or makes you feel uncomfortable. they make sure you have the best experience that you can and make getting your tattoos something to look forward to. Brad Watkins is my artist up there....he is amazing. he has done 10 tattoos for me now, and we have more plans in the works. he is awesome at doing custom pieces and really giving you something that is a one of a kind and unique piece of art, rather than something you see on every other person walking down the street. he is so talented and his use of color and shading is unsurpassed! i show off my tatts every chance i get and everyone is always impressed by how clean and vibrant they are! i am telling you....if you're looking for something that is going to stand out as a piece of art, instead of just some cheesy trendy tattoo....brad is your man. you won't regret it....in fact....you'll end up wanting more! :) plus...he is really fair with his pricing and values his loyal clients!! i've also had two tatts done by chris, and they were both awesome, as well! and tony has done several piercings for me and they've all turned out great! he is always very calming and patient (i always get a little more nervous for piercings than tattoos). honestly, i can't say enough good things about the shop. they're really good guys in there and natalie (the receptionist) is always a pleasure to talk to, as well. they really value the art of the industry. i will be going to brad and no regrets for many years to come!!!! I'm sorry, but this place needs to change their name.  I went here a while back to get some tattoos and I was not very happy with the results.  The coloring was wrong (I was told the navy blue, which was supposed to be royal blue, would turn royal blue at some point...what?), white splotched appeared in the solid black, the straight lines are pretty shakey, and my arm broke out in a weird rash.  Before going there, I'd gotten three tattoos eslwhere and never had that weird rash problem.  Lucky everything healed fine, and don't get me wrong, everyone was perfectly nice, but I'm not really big on tattoo artists who talk the whole time they're tattooing you (see straight line issue above). My friends and I went here this past weekend.  They are friendly and don't judge.  I was in Raleigh in the middle of them recovering from a 3-8 inch snow storm...  and this place was the first tattoo place we tried and was actually OPEN.  i got a cluster of stars going from my ear down my neck to my back... my friend Ami got bows on the back of her calves and we popped our friend Kaylee's tattoo-cherry and she got her very first tattoo that day too - which was a star design behind her ear.  The guys there are cool, they make you comfortable and make sure you got exactly what you want. I am going to sound like all the other reviews but honestly that is why I came here a few nights ago. I had gotten all my work at blue flame and returned with a tattoo I wanted which they refused due to attitude. I am done with that. I decided to check Chris out at No Regrets and him and Natalie found lettering and had it drawn up and gave me a price and started the tattoo within ten to fifteen minutes. The price was insanely good and the work was bomb a$$ good. No way it could have been better or cleaner. I got trust thyself and all I can say is I trust these guys. We are from Asheville and came in for two tattoos. My husband and I. They were the nicest shop they we have ever been to in the whole state. The vibe of the manager really was professional yet calming. She was honest and walked us through every step of the way. We really had an amazing expierence and received two perfect and professional tattoos from Chris. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. We brought in custom work which was easily done and they also had lots of stuff on the wall as well. I like the atmosphere very much and we will definitely make a trip back for a revisit. Excellent shop with knowledgeable staff. Very friendly. Great parking and always eager to help. Work is great and they have very competitive pricing. Sometimes there is a wait Friday and Saturday but everyone tries their best to ease the wait. I highly recommend this price. I have several small tattoos from various artists from Raleigh to Wyoming, but the best and my favorite BY FAR was done by Chris Hix at No Regrets. Last year, he designed a cherry branch for me - originally, I planned to have it done on my neck but reconsidered the location kind of last-minute (work and all...). Chris re-did the design to fit just below my collar bone. It's fantastic and I get compliments constantly. People are always surprised that it's a tattoo -it looks like it's painted on. Beautiful shading, excellent color, and it's held up wonderfully - still gorgeous about a year later (and the price was great!). If I decide on any more, I know who I'm going to! I've had a small tattoo and some piercings for a while. I was on the hunt to get some more work done but didn't know anyone in the area so I did some 'shopping' and asking for recommendations. No Regrets kept coming up, so I decided to give them a shot. Chris Hicks at No Regrets did a fantastic job on a piece a couple of months ago. (He deserves 5 stars for that, alone). I knew without question that I wanted him to do another one. A BIG ONE. He drew up several renditions and I changed my mind and 'hemmed and hawed' and never charged me for all the hours he spent on the drawings. Finally, we decided on 'the BIG one' (3 palm sized lilies, leaves and stems that go from armpit to below the hip) and he sat down and went to work. In my wildest imagination, I could NEVER imagine that it would turn out as beautiful, colorful or 3 dimensional as it did. His use of colors and shading is superb! He is an incredible artist and I would, without hesitation send anyone their way. When all was said and done, for the amount of work that went into my tattoo, the price was a steal!!!!!!!!! They have by far the best prices in town and most approachable staff in the Triangle! Read Less

Just got my second tattoo (1st from No Regrets) and I absolutely love it. I couldn't find an example of what I wanted so I told him what I wanted was ""in my head"". Everything i have ever had done i have done there..I have my eyebrow,tongue and nose and bellybotton done... I also have three tattoo's one on each foot and one on my lower back and am thinking of going back to have my boyfriend's name put on my neck... I've had three piercings done there, and the guy is top notch. Everyone I know that's been there for tattoos has loved it as well. They do excellent work in a great environment, and the prices are reasonable and competetive. If you're looking for a place that does good work, but you don't want to spend a ton of cash at one of the ""trendier"" joints like Blue Flame or Warlocks, this is the place to go. i went there for my first tattoo over a month ago and am waiting for inspiration to go back Dj (the artist) was amazing. i just told him what i wanted and he drew it it was clean and well priced 5 of my friends ended up getting tattoos there. i would definately recomend it. you have to have a good sense of humor to go but they have tons of ideas if you don't know what you want and they are really patient if you don't or your not sure. i give an A+ and if you need a touch up it's free no questions asked.
