IF I COULD DO NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY RUINED MY BIRTHDAY AND MY BODY!!! I went in for a tattoo for my birthday and it was a very simple cross. I spent about an hour talking to the employees beforehand and they assured me they could do it perfectly because I am OCD. I needed perfect straight and skinny lines. However THEY COMPLETELY FAILED!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the exact opposite of what I asked for and what my stencil was drawn as. I cried for days and researched removal options before I even left the parking lot. The manager has not made an effort to reach out to me and I am now ruined for life. DO NOT GO HERE. Went in to get a helix piercing. Was checked in quickly and did not have to wait long to be called back. I cannot remember the name of who did the piercing, but he was very nice and had me do deep breathing to calm my nerves during the piercing. I went in to get a tattoo in memory of my boyfriend. It was a simpler tattoo, probably not the most exciting tattoo an artist would enjoy doing. I've been to other shops that only care about the big, exciting tattoos, and have no interest in anything but your money. But Ryan put so much care and effort into doing it, and made such a meaningful tattoo to me, better than I even hoped it would turn out!!!He did such a spectacular job and I'm so happy with how it came out. They are great for the prices! But the biggest issues that I had was that 2 days after I got my nose pierced, I had to go to a different shop to help me get the correct size! The jewelry that he gave me was way to short and started to embed in my skin and leave a hole in my nose. Luckily I found someone to change it and give me a new piece so it could heal properly. First off, the staff here run by Jordan are amazing. They are involved, attentive, and funny to have conversations with. They are all subject matter experts in their craft, and have many years of experience. Jordan did a two session tattoo for me that was dedicated to my mother who passed away in 2017 of pancreatic cancer. He quickly and willing accepted to do the tattoo for me, and I couldn't be any happier. The detail and passion involved in this tattoo really sets him and his shop apart from anyone else. If you are considering a tattoo, and live anywhere near Matthews, this has to be the place for you. Just returned from my second trip to get tattooed by Jordan. Drove down 7hrs. from WV for 2 days of tattooing. Did the same last October. Jordan finished both my sleeves. Great shop, great people, and great work. Jordan went to dinner with me and my family and made sure the wife and daughters knew the local spots during the day. They take time to answer any and all questions, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. He provides very informative after care instructions. Super place and super people. I spent a little while looking around at local tattoo shops to find someone who does fine line work. Divine Arts was immediately on my radar, and when I went in, I wasn't disappointed. Divine Arts has a very clean and welcoming atmosphere, and everyone there was friendly and professional. The design I brought in for my tattoo consisted of several small details, and Jordan kept those details perfectly. I was relaxed the entire time. This is by far my favorite and the best shop in the QC and surrounding areas. The artists are down to earth, very talented, clean, and pretty funny. The shop is clean and comfortable. Every piece they do looks awesome and comes with very detailed care instructions. This is the most relaxed you'll ever be, while being stabbed (by needles) repeatedly. Yesterday, my best friend and I got our nostril piercings done by Ryan. He was so sweet; he was professional and such a gentleman who had a calming quality about him. When my eye started to water (an involuntary reaction to nostril piercing), he gently dabbed my tears away... he said he didn't want my eye makeup to get messed up! LOL! While I think Jordan did a fantastic job hand drawing the tattoo and the final art work was great!    I did not get a response to my email from the web to get an appointment which said 20 minute consult "Free".  I needed to consult on ideas I had and narrow it down and tattoo day still did not know what I was going to have done and how much it would cost. I found Divine Arts online and decided to give it a chance.  My ears have been pierced for 50 years and decided to close up.  They are very clean and the service I got was awesome.  The young man that does the piercing was informative, gentle, dedicated to cleanliness and just a really nice man.  I am 69 years old and they respected that.
